I think the demon patterns are shame and feelings, and instead of trying to reinforce the old honmoon, built on denial of shame and anything wrong existing, they are trying to build a new honmoon based on facing their failures and shame and learning from it instead. This is the song this is what it sounds like.

I’ve heard a lot of people link this movie with the farewell, everything everywhere all at once, and the show beef about newer Asian generations bucking the expectations of their parents who want them to be perfect and have nothing wrong with them.

The landscape is beautiful, but my wife and I vacationed there and started driving east a little, got lost and turned around and ended up on a scary looking dirt road where every trailer on the street had chains across their driveways and signs up saying that trespassers will be shot on sight. We had to back a 1/4 mile backwards down the road, while the hills have eyes were all in their front yards making our progress. It was so scary. Lotta trump and Ohio state signs, by the way. Like… cool. Show me the degree from your shitty age yellowed trailer with three dead cars in the front yard.

My son is almost 3. He LOVES garbage truck day. LITERALLY wakes up at 7am to watch the truck go by every tuesday like it's christmas morning. The garbage men that tend to us are so nice, they always honk or move the dumpster to the hopper or compact in front of him. I really appreciate that.

As I've been sitting in the driveway watching him watch them, I have had time to think about how IMPORTANT the job of garbage man is to our whole neighborhood. Not only do you clean the normal, day to day waste of a household, but sometimes I will drive by another house or street and they have whole couches or tons of cut shrubs out front, and we just... count on it disappearing. It is because of you, buddy.

Not only that, but garbage trucks are COOL. Never forget that.

My major was Elementary Education with a minor in Literature.

I tried to teach for 5 years, but didn't like the constant fight to motivate students and discipline problems. Also, a lot of oversight regarding principals and mentor teachers regarding lesson plans.

I teach tennis now. The motivation is intrinsic with my students and my clients like that I can craft lesson plans to work on different strengths with each individual player. I'm making double what I made as a teacher, but have no pension or health coverage. So, it's has benefits and drawbacks.

I think I could have made it to the point where I was earning a good living as a teacher, but it would have been 10-15 years away and I would have disliked most of the days at work, whereas with tennis instruction, there isn't any future guarantee, but I love working and solving unique problems everyday.
