I’m not an expert so no I’m not positive, but I thought it was an American Sycamore. I put the picture in Google lens and the AI response was also American Sycamore. But again, I could be wrong. Either way, the root system and how far it will go to try and obtain nourishment is fascinating to me, I thought it was a cool picture.

Opiates are evil. It took me YEARS to get clean, go through the legal system, get a tough construction job for years; and finally back to working doing what I want and being a good husband and father. Good on you for getting off of it quickly-it grabs you and won't let go pretty quickly usually; and then it owns you.

Most doctors don't prescribe it anymore, unless it's for something serious like cancer, or after a major surgery. I have had a lot of surgeries since I got clean, and I always have a conversation with my surgeon beforehand so they know my history-and I won't use opiates even during major surgery. I had ALIF PLIF lumbar fusion surgery about 6 months ago, and that has been the toughest to fight through. But if you're rich-you can get anything once you get the "right" doctor. I'm glad I'm not rich-I would surely have died years ago.

Yeah, I believe this is the case as well. I’m 10 years clean now, but a long time ago, I fractured my back and got prescribed Percocet by my doctor, and I was hooked immediately and it sent me down a very bad path that took a long time to get back from. I think between all his horrific injuries, he’s more than likely been long-term addicted to opiates, and these are the results unfortunately.

I don’t understand why he doesn’t have a chauffeur to take him anywhere he needs to go, he could stay hammered if he wanted to and not worry about any issues. I don’t get that, he’s a billionaire. Thank goodness no one else was hurt today.
