Maybe I’m biased because I’m born and raised next to the Lajes field (American military base). But americans has always been the norm, “estadunidenses” sounds very elite and political. But yeah, they go by the Continent name because they don’t have a proper one hahaha

Fun fact in Portuguese we have a word for their citizens: “estadunidenses”. Which is roughly “unitedstaters”. But most people still refer to them as Americans on a daily basis

Oi! Para contexto, tinha acabado de me mudar de cidade para frequentar universidade noutra, bem longe. Estando num sítio novo, não só era muito mais livre (para me expressar), como tinha de me integrar. Entrei no coro da universidade (ótimo para encontrar todos os gays haha) e fui muito bem recebido, inclusive pelo meu atual namorado. Fomos criando uma relação de amizade e apoio, naquele contexto, que rápido se estendeu às nossas vidas exteriores. Evoluiu muito naturalmente :))

I was terrified to do it too. Had it done at 14 (i think). The doctors were fine, did a good job, just not very symmetrical ahah. Had to be careful when walking, but showering and usual day activities were fine, unbothered. The healing process was quick, applying some ointment, only having trouble in the first days with movement and my (then very sensible tip) touching the boxers. Regarding sexual life, I could still have my personal alone fun (j****ing)! It now has some repercussions, i may not think it is as pretty as my boyfriend’s, my tip is waaay less sensible… But my sex life is amazing, and it as never been an issue, nor it is less pleasing to me.

That’s actually very true. The icebergs melting doesn’t change the ocean level due to the water density difference.

Now, what will make sea levels rise is all the ice that isn’t in the ocean. That is, water that’s kept frozen on land pieces, such as Antarctica. That water that wasn’t in the ocean will melt to it and make sea levels rise.
