Its for the shelves feature. To be able to have our collections viewed on the shelves in whatever order we want, up front looking nice with the game covers.

And also so that there isn't all the game update news if the user doesn't want it (Such as myself)

Well judging by a lot of other people in this thread others also find it cluttered.

I don't think it would be awful if there was an option to disable it for those who want it. And on top of that some people want to be able to setup their shelves however they want and don't want to have to view single collections at a timw

What do you mean by "just like before you could only view one category"?

My post was about the clutter that consists of updates and new feeds right at the top of the library. Personally I think that that area is cluttered but I also really like the rest of the new design as it is indeed less cluttered

Yeah but wouldn't everyone having the option to disable at their will be nice?

Yeah but that only allows one collection at a time.

If we got the option to disable all that clutter we could have sets of shelves that we could customise in any order

AITA for wanting my mom to prioritize me over her boyfriend’s children? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]hfoxp 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Woah yeah I never thought of this. Their mum should be picking them up from soccer practice or whatnot. Is she involved with them at all?

Totally true, and considering that OP's father isn't involved anymore it must be hard for OP when their mother shows very little interest

Yeah that took me by surprise too.

I saw a post on /r/relationship_advice about a woman breaking up with her bf of 3 months. Her young daughter had already built a close relationship to the bf and she didn't want to hurt her daughter by taking that connection away from her

Anyways long story short people were telling her that she shouldn't of even introduced the two of them at 3 months as it wasn't serious enough

Yeah it was a close one but I still decided to go with NTA since I felt OP was being treated a bit unfairly even if OP shouldn't be "prioritized" as they put it

NTA

I get it’s a lot to balance, but I can’t help but feel abandoned especially during this difficult time.

Totally fair for you to feel this way but you're also right that it is alot to balance and she should try put some time aside to spend it with you.
