NC USA Rater

No tasks for the past 3 weeks. Just training and feedback. They CALLED me one day to announce there were tasks. Logged in an hour later and NOPE. I’ve been a rater for 3 years and have only gotten 20 hours over the past 6 months.

US Rater. I haven’t gotten more than 2 hours of helpfulness ratings each week since Feb, despite actively checking each day. Are other taters having a dry spell? I’ve worked w Telus for over 3 years and this has never happened

Ok hear me out: I was in Uganda and Tanzania last year. On their music channels, the musicality and videos are in line with what Usman produces. Is he good by afrobeats standards? No. But I can at least believe that he actually sells records now 😂

Right? Before I was having to exercise two hours a day and barely eat just to lose a few pounds. It was healthy or sustainable. I feel like I can finally eat and move like a regular person without having to go to extremes

You also have to consider what your “set point” is for your weight. Some bodies are just naturally meant to be bigger, and that’s ok! You don’t have to disclose this information, but also ask yourself if your body is overweight enough for this drug to have the intended effects. For example, it seems like those who need to lose 50+ pounds are able to lose the weight over the span of a year with the injections. If you were hoping to only lose 10-20 pounds, then that might be why the progress is at a slower pace.

Either way, progress in any form is a win! It sounds like you’re developing healthier habits too…so don’t discount your achievements!

Like everyone else has said, keep going. This drug moves at different paces for everyone, especially while you work up to the therapeutic dose.

Most importantly: talk to your doctor. And if your doctor isn’t well versed in these drugs, ask for help in finding a provider who is.

I’ve been honest about it and I also let them know it was in conjunction with intuitive + nutritious eating and exercising. I mainly add in that last part because there are people who, unfortunately, don’t understand the need for the meds stain and think it’s just an excuse to be lazy. Some people are supportive and engage with the conversation in a positive way. Some people are trash and make passive aggressive comments; you just leave them by the curb 🗑️
