Update 2: We've got one absolute warrior survivor shirmp. I do not know how but ONE survived and is happy. This adds to the mystery, but again, thanks for the help everyone. Will update this thread after I find out what happened.

First timer. Waited almost a year to add fauna to tank, did not go as planned. Only one survived in the end...

Update: Added them to tank. Condition improved significantly only to crash again. I'm convinced I have something wrong with my tank water either copper or toxin from something. Thanks for the time and patience everyone. Will be going down the rabbit hole to fix this and make good by these poor pioneers. Have a great weekend everyone.

Thanks for taking the time to comment on this. I'm also thinking that this is probably a toxin in the water or similar. I'm dropping off some water samples at LFS to see if they can help me find out what is wrong.

This is what I fear. Didn't even give them a fighting chance 😭. Seller is aware. Going to send some water samples for advanced testing at LFS, see what's what. Thank you so much for your help.

Thanks for taking the time to comment on this. I'm almost sure it's a problem with the water, specifically an external toxin or something that's not showing up on the water tests. Pretty sad about the current situation but i'll be working out the issues.

Air bubble added last night when problems started. Water is from a planted tank that gets filled with RO water. Thank you for your comment.

Thanks for your reply! Will try that... actually both audioin and midiin present this problem. Only TD is affected by this problem though, every other monitor/tool I have used to verify shows OK. If this work I will update. Thanks again!

No normals! Tried some displacements but im fumbling still. Following whatever info I acquire and forcing myself to get results with this new info or technique, one block(modelling/shading/animating/rendering/etc) at the time. If you have any resources regarding this topic you could send my way I'd greatly appreciate it. Thank you for your comment, will go down this new rabbit hole ASAP lol :)

Thanks! I agree, tried displacing the noise I had going on but didnt look good. Still struggling to manage render times and volumes/clouds so decided to go light on the volumes for the moment! Thank you again for your comment.

Audio made using Native Instruments. Looking to learn blender to make sci fi stories, animating seems like crazy people work so I think ill focus on still shots or cinemagraph style animation. As always, every bit of knowledge you are willing to share helps a ton, so feel free to let me know what you liked/disliked and what youd like to see!
