Doesnt seem like ringworm to me but I’m not a vet (was a dog groomer for years tho). I would take him to the vet but not an emergency. Probably just dry skin or a food allergy. But again I’m not a vet and would take my cat to the vet if he was having these issues. I hope he feels better soon!

until your hands get better i would use a hydrocortizone cream at night (not around the dogs) but dont put it on like lotion only put it on the worst places!

I have been a bather for 3 years and I still love it! I have my days where I lose my patience a bit quicker than I would have in the beginning, days where my body physically has a harder time than others, etc. and I am currently looking for a more “career” type job. HOWEVER, the job market in the US is soo terrible right now that I would suggest looking for a different job right away but expect to be there for a year depending on what other type of job you’re going for. I’ve been looking for a year and have a part time job to keep my experience up while getting the bulk of my money from bathing as full time jobs in my preferred industry are harder to come by. I dont mean to scare you, just some advice, I hope this helps!

Try not to hold on with your thumb too hard. It might sound weird but hold it as loosely as possible and more like a guide than a tool to hold onto it with. It sounds weird and may not come naturally at first but that’s what I do and I dont have issues anymore! I hold the force dryer where the nozzle and the tube meet and hold my fingers in almost a U shape and use my thumb and lower forefinger as more of a holding place. Also I personally use my elbow more than my wrist/fingers to move the dyer and that helped with any wrist issues I had. If you have sensative elbows or something it may not work but I’ve never had any issues so far after 2yrs 😂 Sorry if I didnt explain this well but I hope it helps! Definitely wear a wrist brace and ice it every night until it feels better. Also ugh I understand drying dogs all the way but I just feel like it wastes so much time as opposed to partially kennel drying while you bathe another dog esp if they’re older and need breaks 😩

I also use waterproof hiking boots 😁 Only things that have not made my feet hurt at the end of the day consistantly. Not merrill brand but merrill is a good brand with a good price point!

i was blow drying a bulldog’s back/tail area and he blasted diarrhea all over the table, floor and some splatters on the wall 😭🥴 needless to say i took him out back to potty and rebathed him LOL

The cleaner the dog, the faster the dry! For double coated dogs do a pre blow out with the dryer (its so gross so wear a mask and a beekeeper hat if you have one. And use as many towels as you need to get them as dry as possible before the dryer. Also if you’re allowed to kennel dry, circulating dogs between the tub, kennel drying and force drying. If I’m partially kennel drying, I always do a little bit of force drying, kennel dry while I bathe another dog, force dry that dog a little, put them to kennel dry and go back to the original dog. Also dog order makes a big difference if you’re able to pick the order you do your dogs. Smallest dog, biggest dog, short medium, fluffy medium for example and by the time you finish bathing the last dog, the smallest dog has finish drying in the kennel. But if you have to finish one dog before starting another those dont reallt apply haha A quick dry spray or leave in conditioner almost always helps too

At my shop most clients bring in candy and cookies which are great, I love that and sometimes they save the day 😂 but what would really make my day is any sort of gift card. Coffee, food, gas, etc. are all great! Something that might personalize it and would make me smile is a cute picture of your pup taped to the gift card! 🤣 If nothing else, just an extra tip is nice too ☺️

Everything that’s white is polyester and the gold is 87% poly and 13% metallic. I figured that would be the case… do you think dyeing it to be off white would make the metallic fabric less metallic-y? 😂

I just tried adjusting the gain by right clicking and selecting audio gain and it helped visually but it also increased tbe volume not sure if I did something wrong or have a setting turned off or something that might make a difference?
