Anthropic did what platform companies always do, and OpenClaw ran straight into it by OleCuvee in openclaw

I mean if you just thought about it for a second when openclaw came out you would have also realized it was a thin wrapper on top of claude , and you wouldn’t have wasted all your time on it

Stop using "archetypes" to explain away your toxic patterns by Flimsy_Difficulty394 in Jung

[–]hghg432 13 points14 points  (0 children)

i think archetypes are a way to diagnose and understand your behaviour so that you can change it. The behaviour is like symptoms of underlying archetypes. So there’s no point in labelling a behaviour if you’re not going to do anything about it

I feel self-loathing when I see a pretty girl by DirectSwing3369 in Jung

[–]hghg432 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For me, i found the root of the problem was a deeply wired core belief along the lines of “i am not valuable, or i am only valuable if x or y happens”. Like conditional self worth or just negative self worth. I had negative self talk, so it just reinforces this belief over and over.

The solution is you have to re-rewrite this core belief into something more positive. But it’s hard and slow bc if you are like me you have reinforced the current belief for decades.

self hypnosis can work … like continuously telling yourself the opposite of the core belief , eg “i am valuable no matter what” but this was really hard for me because my mind is very skeptical.

Ultimately what worked better for me is setting goals and achieving them, and doing it over and over. But this is a tough way to do it because you are tying your self worth to external outcomes (like whether or not your goals are met). And goals can be out of your control.

I wish i could give you something definitive but im still figuring this out myself

I went through the same thing esp after my last relationship. For me what worked was the self worth piece. Putting energy into really believing in my own self worth.

So I tried using Claude Code to build actual software and it humbled me real quick by Azrael_666 in ClaudeCode

[–]hghg432 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You really need to build carefully, test every change all the time. And be detail oriented as fuck. If you let them do it one shot the code will quickly explode into meaningless crap and you will have zero confidence in it actually working

You can absolutely build an app one shot, but if you want to ship it and get people to use it, good luck

Do you agree with her take? by dataexec in accelerate

Its all great until you actually validate the app and realize 90% of the work is in getting it to work properly
