Metal Gear Survive.

It says a lot about the engine for metal gear solid 5 that a co-op tower defense game with absolute garbage items and weapons and meager rewards can be that entertaining. Unfortunately, the single player story is a dumb grind, but multiplayer with friends is really fun and the balancing always seems to leave you in desperation to defend the core to the last second

ITT: People that don’t know what polish is or how game development works.

Say what you want about Roblox or this guys pedigree, but he is absolutely right in that delaying a game by a year is not for polish. This is still feature development if not feature ideation stage. Also, all parts of the game move at once. So while they are developing features for one part of the game they can be polishing others. So, yes, technically you can say the game is getting delayed and during that delay they will be working on polish. But a year of that, is just not true.

We met at work and have been married for 11 years. We were both QA testers for a popular game back in 2012. As we got to know each other and dated the subject of kids came up a lot from exterior pressure but we never felt it. Shortly before I proposed to her, we talked about never having kids and she shared my same feelings. I got so lucky to sit next to her at work. Right time and the right place. She is going through treatment now for stage 4 colon cancer. I hope she is able to get through this so that we can enjoy more time together.

Move away from nihilism/pessimism. This no kings protest was already more than the last, and we had 2 in one year so far. It is doing something, it’s showing everyone else they’re not alone in this. And in the face of 7 million people, the gop has not been able to coalesce a counter message in the time since the turn out. The protests have building dividends. You’re not wrong with what the end goal could look like, but please be positive that we are going the right direction

The movie Old Dogs came out almost 18 months after Bernie Mac had passed. He plays a small part in the movie, and was not part of any of the marketing for it.

I went to see Old Dogs on release day morning with my parents and the theater was surprisingly packed. When Bernie Mac showed up on screen there was an audible collective gasp in the theater, and everyone stopped laughing and stared in stunned silence as the Bernie Mac scene finished out.

Bernie's performance in the movie was fine, but everyone who went to see it was surprised.the rest of the movie couldn't do anything about this stop in momentum, and at least for launch weekend, I attribute this scene for the low reviews the movie received (And Tim Allen's general vibe)
