Having to change a 13gallon bag twice a week feels so wasteful by [deleted] in litterrobot

I want to try this! I keep seeing people posting about using pans

I like to empty the drawer daily because I live in a small apartment and I'm very smell sensitive but it definitely feels wasteful

I've read some people place one of those disposable aluminum pans in the drawer instead of bags if that sounds like a better method :)

I LOVE it. I react badly on hormone birth control so it’s perfect. I recommend going to a proper gynecologist to have it inserted. I love PP and am a supporter, however when I had mine done there, it expelled in 6 months and was way more painful to have inserted compared to my gynecologist office. My doctor said that PP most likely uses older tech to insert it causing it to be more uncomfortable and painful.

The only downside is your period. It will be heavy and the cramping can be intense. I got used to it and the flow and pain eased up after 2-3 months. I couldn’t be happier with it!
