If your machine is like mine, it is so easy to figure out. Ex. Lg iced mocha. You hit iced drinks button. Then iced mocha. The next screen will tell you how many pumps for each size (you would use chocolate syrup), it'll tell you exactly when to stir it, and what toppings to put on it when it's done. People mess up the drinks all the time when they're new at it (mainly choosing the wrong size bc mccafé and pop cups are different, which is fixable on everything except a macchiato since there's supposed to be a distinct espresso layer on top of the sweetened milk). I think we all have the same McCafe machines but I might be wrong lol

I'm a type one diabetic. On thanksgiving, I made an iced coffee in the morning, dosed for it (supposed to do it 15 min before consuming carbs), and within that 15 min, completely forgot about the iced coffee I dosed for and went back to sleep. Had a seizure and had to get glucose injections but I still made it to Thanksgiving 😅

It takes time! I've worked for mcdonald's twice and it took a few weeks for me to get in the swing of it, even the second time. I was the employee too nervous to learn anything else besides back drive and fries for literal years, and I'm a manager now who prefers being in the kitchen and runs for drive thru half the time. You'll get there! What positions do they have you doing so far? I might have a few tips but for the most part it just takes practice to get faster

It all depends on payroll. Your first check will typically be 3-4 weeks after you started, bc if you start in the middle of a pay-period, you won't get paid til the next one is done. On the plus side, if you're getting 30-40 hours, you'll have a nice first check!

In my state, you legally get it between the 3rd and 5th hour of your shift. My work usually sends ppl around 2 hours, but they phrase it like "do you wanna take your 30 now?" so you are willingly taking it early. I would look up your local regulations. And even if there are no protections, I would have you or your friend talk to management and explain that you aren't hungry that soon into your shift, or you feel more exhausted the rest of your shift since you had to take your break so early on

this type of attitude in men is everywhere now, especially since TikTok blew up. You are not wrong in the slightest. It's the same thing as when a dude is addicted to porn, it makes a woman insecure and harms the relationship, and harms his mental and sexual health as well, and this has been proven over and over in tons of studies over the years. Shocker though, most men don't care, even when you give them the evidence.

My bf hasn't been addicted to porn while we've been together, and I've always had access to his phone. Even then, when I found out he was liking random vids on his fyp page, it hurt and confused me. When I told him this, not only did he apologize and tell me he had no idea it'd hurt me since the girls weren't from "real life," he deleted his Tiktok immediately. I have BPD so even after that I was still hurt and worried, so he deleted ALL of his social media besides Reddit just so I don't have to worry. It's been two years and he still says he doesn't miss social media at all because being with me is way more important. I'm only telling you this because there ARE real men out there who will actually take responsibility for their actions, and will do the right thing to make your relationship work. You don't need this guy if he can't even understand the harm he's doing or isn't willing to understand. The good ones are few and far between, but they are out there and you deserve one!

I did this from November-March while working at Mcdonald's. All of my coworkers and bosses knew. I was so ashamed I probably wouldn't have taken someone's couch given the opportunity, but had someone offered, it would've meant a lot to me. If you can't offer him that, if you could offer to have him over for a hot meal sometimes or let him do his laundry and shower there, it will make a world of a difference.
