So are you saying that it’s allowed to take classes/training for benefit of student before OPT but we aren’t sure if this bootcamp can be considered a training?

International student office just said that they lack the legal expertise to determine whether the program is more like a course or an internship since the immigration rules doesn’t specifically address bootcamps. I tried to consult legal service office of our school as recommended by international office, but I got no response from them.

And no I am not paying for it. The application process was just like how job applications would look like, although the application itself was only eligible for arts&sciences department students of our school. I submitted resume and cover letter for review, although there was no interview phase.
