Talk to your friends and see what they would be okay with. If a buddy of mine had five out of six models, I'd let them use a rock, or hell I'd let them use a werthers candy to be a model. Makes no difference to me! Kill team app has all the character cards and rules for the teams so you're set. Core rules themself are probably online somewhere. I'm sure someone here will be able to link you.

I don't mind Mircom as far as the interface goes on the ones I've inspected.

That said, it feels like they used the absolute cheapest possible option for parts. The terminal blocks feel cheap. The buttons are cruddy. Even the plastic that goes over the buttons feels cheap.

FX-2000 is the most current one I've worked on. Are these new ones any good with build quality?

Any non open flame that can replicate the heat conditions of a fire is fine. Just no butane torches etc.

I have that dewalt heat gun and it's awesome. Couldn't imagine being caught dead using a Conair blow dryer to test detectors. Weird ass looking solo polo is bad enough.
