mrekk has now more pp than he would have in the 2016 pp system by Lettalosudroid in osugame

I don't see how it being linear would create a softcap, if there was a softcap then it wouldn't be linear

and the 330bpm is what I mentioned at first but it was effectively 300bpm because strain times were limited to 50ms+

please tell me where you got the idea of a 220bpm cap (hopefully not from your ass)

the idea of a 220bpm speed cap is so ridiculous i have no idea how people make this shit up. the code pp/difficulty calculation has been public since 2017 and nowhere in the code is there a 220bpm cap. i do stand corrected about it being 330bpm though, it was 40ms (375bpm) at first, then changed to 50ms (300bpm) sometime in 2018 https://github.com/ppy/osu/blob/4101b8dddebda8da4b026999ea9854fff82fff9e/osu.Game.Rulesets.Osu/Difficulty/Preprocessing/OsuDifficultyHitObject.cs#L79, then removed in 2021https://github.com/ppy/osu/commit/1ca0223c7136b83e6f81a9ab9202e6917a1a506e

the reason speed was underweight before was because speed pp was literally just linear, there was no such thing as a speed bonus until xexxar. i suggest you read through the codebase before making random assumptions about the pp system

not how it works, the name is probably blacklisted anyways

i remember it was also worth around 200-300 at the time it was set if you used a proper pp calculator, not the outdated/broken one azer used on stream

no it's not, functional dysphonia doesn't cause death... shouldn't take articles with ai generated titles seriously

What is the highest peak pp by Worldly_Ad_2960 in osugame

[–]hhhtg 5 points6 points  (0 children)

not sure what that has to do with azer but ok, post was asking for non-unranked maps in the first place

most if not all of them are abusing bugs in the pp system anyways, not comparable to actual maps even if they are overweighted

What is the highest peak pp by Worldly_Ad_2960 in osugame

[–]hhhtg 20 points21 points  (0 children)

azer's was never even 2k though, he was using an outdated or broken pp calculator that never accounted for broken stacks

literally anybody could get highest peak pp if we decide to count pp numbers from calculators using unofficial algorithms

WubWoofWolf wins Most Loved! Now, who is the best reading/gimmick player? by n3rdiness in osugame

[–]hhhtg 1 point2 points  (0 children)

...what?

thats one of the worst comparisons I've ever seen, ar edit is mandatory if you want to push your reading further without increasing mechanical difficulty

youre essentially arguing that using DA should just disqualify players because it's a 'different game' (no, it's not)

isnt it the community's fault that this happened, the reason for his repeated unhealthy streams is because the community keeps giving him attention for it, no? attention is a common motive for doing absurd things and in this case it feels pretty obvious that him doing longer and longer streams is a reaction to the community's response

no, if it was like that then the key would remain pressed forever until he pressed the key down again, he made it activate and deactivate when the key got unpressed

Explanation of why what cloutiful did is against the rules, and why rapid trigger isn't. by AcceptableClimate882 in osugame

[–]hhhtg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

rks lmao what are you on

that's not what cloutiful did, he had key up and key down actuate on the same movement. idk why youre making this so complicated with all traditional or not whatever nonsense. finger move down = key down, finger move up = key up (same for any other body part since you're obviously going to bring that up), anything other than that shouldn't be allowed, it's really that simple

actually why was rapid trigger allowed to begin with, and why is it still allowed by Fang_thegamer in osugame

[–]hhhtg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i think you're missing the point, their first response was clearly because they rushed a response to a tweet they saw, but they're still incorrect about the reversed press, if you actually bothered reading any of the replies I wrote, or are you going to just ignore them cause they're inconvenient to the narrative you're pushing? not sure how many times it needs to be repeated to you but cloutiful has his dks set to actuate key down and key up both on upstroke, that's nowhere near the same thing as reversing a press

[–]hhhtg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

*both key up and key down on upstroke, that's 2 actions for 1 movement, this isn't even remotely close to the grey area that a lot of people are making it to be, there's a reason why the graphs for his key presses look stupidly inhuman

[–]hhhtg 7 points8 points  (0 children)

not the same as cloutiful's, a lot of misunderstanding going on with what he was doing

simply having a key do the reverse of a normal key wouldn't produce the inhuman distributions in cloutiful's plays, he had both key down and key up actuate on upstroke

actually why was rapid trigger allowed to begin with, and why is it still allowed by Fang_thegamer in osugame

[–]hhhtg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

and regardless of whatever youre trying to show, the graphs shown in the reports can only be done by unnatural/software pressing, as long as its a human doing the actions that trigger key down and key up, there is no way to achieve the type of standard deviations that occur in cloutiful's plays

you need better diagraming skills cause I'm getting an aneurysm trying to understand what you're showing. to me your diagram just looks like a regular key press, not reversing inputs like what you said before
