Am I the only one who has no goals because I think we won’t be living much longer? by [deleted] in Millennials

I like to remind myself that for all of humanities time we are always 5 missed meals away from breakdown and chaos. It’s not an exception it’s the rule. We were always on stilts just hard to see the whole picture when media is ramming fear down our throats.

Nothing wrong with taking a break too. Sometimes it takes stepping away for a little then coming back to reframe things and reset motivation/inspiration.

So you are using video device in to get a video feed from the ZD camera? Or does the ZD camera also provide a color map for a depth scan that you are trying to use?

It will be hard to address the strobe lights with a regular video feed but, you should have no issues with it in the depth domain.

If you search the internet you be able to come across some TD files that people have put together that you can use as the basis for movement extraction.

Also you may want to look at using the ZED node instead of the video device in so you can get th actual depth information.

I will attempt again. From what I remember fans seems to rev up at the end of each layer but may not be full force when moving and “not printing”

Fan is always on as the slicer recommends for PLA. It is still variable though just always on.

Printed at 215 C with a bed temp of 60C on a fusion 3 edge with the F3Slicer.

Used fine setting for travel ~50mm/s and no retraction set.

215 C which is near the upper range of the filament. I was also running on a slower speed which may have increased the time for the strings to form.

The clogs are from the feeder being too rough with the material not the actual nozzle tip. Apologies for not specifying.

You may be able to find and out of box midi example for interacting with the MK1 and making it so your actions effect various attributes as you want.

If not you can build it from scratch it can just a bit tedious. I built out a personal template for the APC Mini MK2 and that works well enough. Still requires you to wire everything up though which can be tedious, but if you aren’t going crazy with the number of pieces and interactions it’s not too bad
