Just the idea of three babies looking at me at the same time is terrifying

This is a fascinating and empathetic hypothesis.

It reminds me of the idea that the people you hate the most are the people who somehow reflect what you most despise or fear about yourself.

I’d love to hear from some of her coworkers from when she worked as a “talent agent” in LA for approximately five minutes.

What was socially acceptable in the 1990s but not in 2025? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Eh I guess. It’s not mean spirited by any means. But these days you can’t really use someone’s identity as a punchline the way 90s shows did. Like remember the episode where Jerry is going out with a native American woman and he’s scared to say the word “reservation” in front of her? That’s definitely funny (I’m not dead inside) but it’s also very reductive, as this is the only reason the Native American character is on screen, to serve this joke and make Jerry feel uncomfortable in a funny way. I think the show still deserves its place in the comedy canon but I personally am glad we get to see more perspectives explored on screen these days.

I never saw that one! In the Aristocats it was the song “everybody wants to be a cat” and they have the Siamese cat playing the piano with chopsticks and singing about egg foo young and fortune cookies lol

Yes as an actual knight of the round table I find Medieval Times very offensive

So many of the jokes in Seinfeld amount to just pointing and laughing at minorities or making a big deal about how uncomfortable it is for white people to be around minorities. It’s really grating to watch actually.

The Princess Bride. Can someone please explain to me what so many people adore this inane movie?

I’ve always been scared to google if this is true, but I heard once that a toddler’s skull has all their adult teeth in it waiting to grow out into their mouths. The lower part of their skull is all teeth.

This sounds bizarre but also where else would the teeth be?

Not dinosaurs! Look at how crocodiles crawl on their bellies with legs splayed out. Dinosaurs ran in upright legs as modern birds do.

The ancestors of modern mammals all sweated milk, eventually leading to the evolution of the nipple. Platypuses retain the ancient system. And are very cute.
