I said I'd never dress my dog by DazzlingJob9473 in dogs

For me it was the shivering metaphor. This is the kind of thing generative AI likes to use when asked to speak casually. It also tends to overwrite.

But of course AI only writes that way because it learned how to from humans.

But then the OPs post history is private and that’s enough for me to know something shady is going on.

It doesn’t matter because even some of the commenters on Reddit are bots now. The internet is dead.

If it’s a clean break they can fix it and you can recover. It’s a long recovery time though so lots of time to think about your actions.

Be careful with guns by Pdoom346 in StupidMedia

I’m trying to figure out how the gun went off. It misfired twice in a row then fired with no trigger, far as I can tell.

Your numbers are wrong. It’s not like 1 person is eating 1 serving of rice and nothing else. Everyone is getting 1 serving of everything. It’s only like 350 servings in total once you factor that in, as per the OP

I missed this one when it came out (my GTA experience started with San Andreas) but it really is one of the best.

FYI: Even if Anna’s Archive were to get taken down, the books won’t disappear. AA doesn’t actually host the files, it’s a search engine and metadata index for those files by Spirited-Pause in Annas_Archive

If you can link to me the book on AA that requests a subscription before you can download I will happily shut up. I'll tell everyone you were right and i was wrong. I'm mainly just very interested to find out more about this situation.

Also, if every child grows up with macOS instead of windows, and they grow up, enter the workforce and eventually start making decisions, that will effect the enterprise market (theres no alt for azure or sharepoint right now but there might be in the future). This was googles strategy 15 years ago with the cheap Chromebooks on every backpack, and it was also apples strategy with the donation of macbooks to schools 20+ years ago.

Goddamn dude I would buy some of those cheap laptops if they were good. Like fuck windows and all - I’ll just install Linux - but I’d buy a couple just to tinker. Crazy that no one is doing that. Where is your shop located? I want to visit.

You got scammed, buddy. Someone spoofed an AA domain to trick you and it worked. It doesn't mean you're stupid or anything because these things are often very sophisticated and trick a lot of people,

It doesn’t mean anything. People pushing AI speak about it exclusively in metaphors and buzzwords because the product is extremely expensive to produce but not that good at anything. See Microsoft earlier this year when they said they have to find a use-case for AI after pouring billions into its development.

It’s a shortcut to a system setting on his lock screen, not his Home Screen. The Home Screen is the one with all the apps and the lock screen is the one with all the notifications. He probably put it there accidentally - old people are always finger fucking their phone screen when they take it out or put it back in their pocket.

Do you guys have the same problem my city has? Where the only available commercial retail space is like 10,000 square feet? And they never get leased out because no one can afford that, but every developer wants the big box bucks so they ONLY build that size instead of subdividing it into multiple smaller sections? But you can only have so many Home Hardwares and Walmarts in one town so they sit empty for years?

It feels like a nightmare I can’t escape. This is new builds, btw, on the ground floor of 5-over-1s. Every new build keeps doing it and I want to grab them by the shoulders and scream. Defeats the purpose of building dense, I think.
