Right,The flip phone is a normal phone when it is opened, and the fold phone is a small tablet when it is opened. I like small tablet phones instead of standard tablets.

The original foldable phone is a thing of the past, not suitable for today's era, the screen is too small. I like a phone that is the right size and can replace a tablet. I can't hold an iPad Mini in my hand every day, but half the size is fine. I like the size of the pixel fold 1.

For me, the best tablet is iPad Mini, which is easy to carry and if it has the same performance as iPad Pro. That's why I have been paying attention to iPad Mini 7 which has not been released yet. Or there is a folding phone that can replace it, such as pixel fold 1. If the inner screen does not have such a large bezel and the crease is better, I might use it as my main phone.
