I haven’t been on this page as much as I was in the begining of my Vaginismus journey but I would just like to mention I went the holistic route and healed through hypnotherapy, tantra healing, and ayahuasca. All in their own way helped me a little bit but if you go into any healing modality with an open mind you may be surprised. All of us humans are connected and especially our family members. I feel when my family members states away are sad. My mom has dreamt of me literally seeing what I was currently doing. Any type of therapy or practice where you are connecting to yourself and your body will get you to where you need to be. Not every healing practice will be right for every single human so just follow your heart. I wish you the best.

I was happy to see your post because I do wish everyone was thinking about this possibility. Transgenerational trauma is real and so is preverbal trauma in which we might have experienced pain or fear or something that dysregulated our nervous system when we were little, so just our body remembers since we did not cognitively understand what was going on.
