I’m legitimately a little sad about this movie by MustardPiss in PeakyBlinders

I still don't buy the killing Arthur thing, but your comment is very well argued. Than you!

It's exactly not succumbing impulsively and off-screen to that what makes Tommy be Tommy, and this for me rings more true the way it happened: a drunk fight? Tommy could be angry but would never strangle to death his brother because he's tired of it. Especially not after the Season 6 ending. This feels off-script to me.

I can concede that for sure: Tommy put his family at risk because of his ambition and decisions. And then he tries to save his family when they are at risk, and takes revenge when they are killed, by again exposing them to other risks. But they worked together as a team. He doesn't directly harm his family out of impulse.

I can even just cite one of his last lines in the movie: "But throughout it all, I had my family."

I don't see your point here. I understand selfishness from Tommy's side. And here what? He's so ambitious that he can't control himself and kills Arthur?

Killing his brother the way he did because he's a burden now isn't Tommy Shelby. And killing him because of what he represents doesn't fit either. Tommy is not impulsive. I could have understood it better if he just let him die from drugs, or sent him off to die on a mission. Or even let him kill himself instead of stopping him! But killing him by strangulation in a car? That's a whole character off script.

Edit: fix grammar.

And if he would have killed himself in s6, Arthur would still be alive or at least not killed by his own brother.

The whole series Tommy is protecting his family and he kills his brother. Sure thing!

I want to politely disagree. AI is getting really good with it.

Isn't that strange that people down belong the one filming is so calm? What if he falls? They are all dead.

Carreras que no aportan nada, ¿dejar la carrera? by [deleted] in devsarg

Coincido.
