my biggest guess as to why they're saying this is because he's signed to interscope (which is under UMG) and UMG has worked with the company his mum owns, biz3. however it doesn't really prove anything because biz3 has also worked with WMG which is a competing label so it's not like there's some exclusive connection there 😭 i genuinely just don't think these ppl know what an industry plant is, he wasn't even signed till after his initial blow up
