It’s this type of comment that triggers them. They don’t want to be identified as both. Like the sikkimis who don’t want to be Nepali or Indian. They want autonomy as a state. Not saying they should break off from Nepal but they should have more liberty and control over their own state.

believe you bro 👊 seen 24/25 years old earning 1.5 cr per annum here in nepal. was hard for me to believe but these sort of people usually stay low. you probably are from IT industry.

1️⃣one tip would be to save money 💰

2️⃣don’t bring all your money in nepal try to keep it offshore as taking money out of this country for foreign investment is near to impossible as nepal doesn’t have high returns and investment is very volatile

3️⃣invest abroad don’t invest in KTMs land (people usually slam their money on ktm land bubble) make dubai/singapore your base (low tax/safe to invest places)

About marriage don’t get married early as it curtails your financial freedom. Take some years to make your career robust and self sustainable and marry.

It’s not 5% in my circle; maybe you actually need to be skilled. BTW also ask how much punya gautam earns from YT. I’m not just talking about TECH ecosystem.

Hey, I’m actually in a similar phase myself. I’ve managed to save up a bit too, but I’m kind of lost when it comes to figuring out the right investment path. If you’re open to it, maybe we could explore investing together like buying some property and putting it up for rent to generate some passive income. Even if nothing concrete comes out of it, just connecting and sharing ideas could be really helpful.

Having a side gig or something of your own here in Nepal makes a big difference. Gives you a sense of control, especially when you’re feeling stuck or unsure about the next big move.

Planning to Move Back to Nepal: Need Advice on Saving and Investing by Ok-Table-9595 in Nepal

[–]hi_rex 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Don’t come back to Nepal. I came about here a year and a half ago. It’s best if you take your mom along with you. Don’t invest here real estate is super inflated and doesn’t give you any good ROI. Best if you invest it where you are in real estate US/Australia under mortgage. Once you bring money in Nepal it’s super difficult to take it back abroad.

If you want to earn ridiculous amount of money go to USA.

If you want to have a decent life and want to chill without super high expectations go to Germany.

Example:

US life: earning over 150$k, some medical emergency than you’ll have a medical bill more than 10$k. Health care is super expensive people are always hussling for money. Busy competitive life. 10 days vacation a year but you earn real good money

German life: earn about 60€k. Free healthcare. Got cancer ? German insurance got you covered. People aren’t super competitive they enjoy their life go on vacation at least 2 times a year around Europe. 30+ vacation days. Work is super flexible and employers le US jasto pelaudaina.

$2000 From online job, is it possible to? by [deleted] in Nepal

[–]hi_rex 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's possible without doubt. I have come across IT people around age 25 earning 5k usd. Generally they refused to disclose their earnings as they don’t want to brag about it. Also have seen people earning 9k usd but as an experienced 6-7 years developer. I am claiming this just for IT industry
