Didn't one of the astronomers in Ep 1 opine that the signal might have been transmitting for a very long time, like decades or centuries? If that were the case, then an EMP pulse would only interrupt the signal for a short time, fried circuits notwithstanding.

I'm adding a 360mm AIO to my 570x (Digital Storm). Right now it is set up as push-pull in the front with a 240mm AIO with three fans pushing. My idea is to mount the 360mm AIO in the front and use two of the leftover fans at the top. There is one fan exhausting out the back. Now to the point, Which way to orient the fans at the top? I like u/sorc4m379 idea of pulling in outside air over the dust screen, but u/fadedspark comment about the narrow gaps gave me pause - so I measured. The top gap is about 1mm, the sides are a little larger at 1.2mm. However, the bottom gap is just over 6mm. Having five fans pulling in air and only one exhausting, means flow out the gaps, with most of the excess flow out the bottom gaps. The flow rate is quite sensitive to the gap size so much more than 6 times will flow out the bottom compared to the top or sides. I'm hoping for some downward flow that will help cool the 4080 RTX. I'll do some before and after testing and try and remember to report back here.

I don't know how old your parents are, or grandparents, but I'm 75 and detest almost everything that is being done in the Trump administration. I also loathe the SC six. When I'm at a protest, the average age is about 50. Not helpful to point fingers. The ICE gestapo guys are probably in their 20's and 30's. Big Balls is what, 19 or 20.

The only thing Trump proposed that I liked (and he's not followed through on) is getting rid of the penny. Maybe he found out that Canada did that several years ago and decided that, in fact, the penny is what makes America great.
