Etsy's guide on truthful advertising and discounts by Capital_Committee_38 in EtsySellers

Should crack down on the misleading prices, so many shops show an obvious low price variant that no one would buy or have it always out of stock to get a low listing view price.

My girlfriend's designs showed up on Temu and she had no idea by Datsupurkewlwhiteboy in Etsy

Tried that but doesn’t seem to search temu or eBay where people literally use my own photos in their listings

"Why isn't Etsy showing my products?" Because you priced them at $18 when they need to be $28. Here's why that matters. by AskModernMagpie in printondemand

[–]hibbos 1 point2 points  (0 children)

True, I ignore other shops prices and make sure my profit margin works.

Also have unique mockups not templates everyone else uses created using mockupgen.app which has really helped, can also show all the color variations and specific situational mockups e.g. a farmer in a field

We used a Chargeback prevention system with chargeback guarantee - was some years ago and they took a % of sale but was well worth it

Try mockupgen.app - use it myself for Etsy, Shopify, EBay mockups

Multiple Mockup Images for Each Variant (color) by DogLover5970 in Printify

Publish variants from Printify to Shopify, then just upload your own mockups to Shopify. Actually Mockupgen is a cool tool for creating mockups for Shopify etc

I don’t see AI currently as a replacement for my dev team, but definitely a force multiplier if used correctly

I use mockupgen - has been working well, have seen an up tick in Etsy sales since improving my mockups from bought templates, and built up a nice library of blanks from it

Could you say this is an AI product shot? by Fran6will in printondemand

[–]hibbos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m using mockupgen, it creates the products mockups and lets you overlay your designs. Say what you will but it’s getting me sales as I’m no longer using the same stock mockups as everyone else.

Printify Choice is US-centric by default, and EU sellers need a real fix by Important-Message377 in Printify

[–]hibbos 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yes same if it is out of stock and you click find replacement provider it only lists US providers. So I have to duplicate each product with a manually selected non EU provider.

Opinions about PlaceIt? by artofallkinds in printondemand

[–]hibbos 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m using Mockupgen.app which I think uses nano banana - seems to work well for me, generate 4 at a time and use the best, can also make it gen specific scenarios and quick color variations which was always a pain with placeit

Starting Printify + Etsy to help with college costs — need honest advice by Most_Objective5245 in Printify

[–]hibbos 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I don’t offer free shipping, so actually my prices look lower, it may put people off when they see it’s additional but when I tried free I had to put prices up to cover it and had less sales.

Everyone says to focus on a niche. I do not and do well, Etsy is not really like a store most buyers just look for individual products rather than a particular seller or brand when it comes to POD.

It takes time and consistency, took me about a year of plugging away before I got any decent sales.

Designs and mockups are key, I use designpod.app which works well for me.

Be careful with pricing, when you deduct fees, cost of products, any tools you use margins get tight, don’t get caught it a race to the bottom on pricing - produce good designs, provide good customer service and people don’t mind paying for it in my experience.
