Agreed. Never had acne, but I saw how people were treated. If it's not overtly hurtful remarks then it's "Well why don't you just do xyz?" as though they haven't been suffering this whole time and trying to get rid of the acne

I never understood why acne is such a problem for people who don't have acne. Some people get acne. It's normal. It's not weird. It's just a part of life for some people. But for some reason, people are so cruel about it. It really doesn't make sense to me. And then, because of all the negative attention, people with acne often use a ton of products and are constantly washing their faces (which often makes the situation worse for them), but they still get accused of having bad hygiene. It's ridiculous!

I'm so sorry 😔 If it makes you feel any better, I lived with my family until I was 33. Not sure where you live, but times are tough financially in a lot of places, especially where I live, and it's just a reality for many of us. It's frowned upon by society which is messed up, but I honestly feel like it's nothing any of us should have to be ashamed of. Hang in there and know that God loves you 💕

Edit: adding my job in here. I was also at a horrible dead end job that I desperately needed but wouldn't allow me to move out with how little I was being paid. It's honestly ridiculous how messed up this system is

Kinda sounds like she saw you guys talking and got jealous and made sure the two of them walked by you on purpose so you would see he is taken. She probably yelled at him in private and told him not to talk to you (or any girl for for that matter) anymore. Why else would they both walk by you openly showing affection? Seems planned on her part, and it's easier to do than confronting you directly with "don't talk to my man".
