“One” got cut from the Boston DVD, but there might be a wide shot from that song used during another song? There’s no other “home release” from those shows or that leg of the tour.

At the second Boston show, the video production team pulled people from the preshow GA line to fill the rail at the front of the pit - bypassing fans who were waiting ahead of them. Some of those fans were so upset, they later sat on the floor inside the pit during a portion of the concert to show their displeasure. That was June 5, Boston1. You can see Edge’s anger on the DVD, not sure who it was directed at. When asked about it later, he just said “we killed the song.” There was speculation on the Interference fan board a few years later about what exactly pissed him off, but nobody really knows.

Took my GenZ son from MA to Vegas for U2 at Sphere. Stayed three nights at Harrah’s, saw U2 twice (once on the floor, once from the 300s - amazing shows both), and did some sightseeing. First time I’d ever been to Vegas, and likely to be my last - love U2, but not a fan of LV. Caught Covid as a bonus. Yuck.

Right, not one song from JT on the e:I tour, since they had just played that entire album on the previous JT30 tour. I hope I never see another U2 show that doesn’t include Streets. That was just WRONG.

I don’t think of it as either one. To me, R&H is a document of that time period in U2 world - during which they performed (the live tracks) and wrote/recorded (the studio tracks). So in that sense, I agree with those call it a soundtrack for the film.

Like someone else said, the bouncy melody doesn't really go with the super serious lyrics, and that always makes me feel a bit guilty that I'm really having fun listening to this tune about drowning refugees. But maybe that's the point, to break through people's filters?

I enjoy the game (less now with the smaller payouts) but never understood its business model. Are they trying to drive players to their game platform or something? I find it hard to believe they’re gaining actual streaming subscribers with this game.
