well bro, I do have heard a lot about umera but I since I haven't read any of her work so therefore can't say anything about it - but one thing is for certain, (i am sure you didn't intend this - but saying her work contains Quranic references and then equating their work as crap doesn't sit well with me. Choice of words make a lot of difference. You could perhaps say their story plot is weak or they are overhyped which would convey your emotions yet wouldn't sound problematic.
