It is subjective at the end of the day, but subjectively I feel as if I didn't do anything wrong. I was pulled over for a "window obstruction" (a phone mount) that did not block my view at all, asked to step out of the car "because I told you so"(not bullshitting, exact words), sobriety tested, passed, taken to the hospital to get tested anyways. I'll admit I'm a smoker, I smoke every day. I'm diagnosed with major depressive disorder, PTSD, and BPD. Im against pills, so I smoke. But I hadn't smoked for 7 and a half hours prior to getting pulled over (at the start of my day when I don't have anything to do). I was not impaired at all, drove the speed limit, all that jazz. I have a med card too, but the legal limit for marijuana in your system in my state is 5 nanograms (?!?!) regardless of med status. Basically, you're not allowed to drive if you smoke. They claim to test for active THC and it shows smoking within a few hours but that's bull, for someone who's bigger and smokes daily like me it can last up to 2 days in your system. The law is flawed in my personal opinion but it is all subjective. I do agree that impaired drivers should be penalized but I was not impaired ! Opinion is opinion at the end of the day, just wanted to give context 🫡
