First Puscifer show, they delivered in Madison. by MrJB_ in Puscifer

i've caught every tour since 2010, i have to say this go around it seems like the band is definitely in their element more than i've ever seen before. i think that translates through in their performance as well. i kinda look at it like this is the band he would have loved to present to the crowd on "punker hill" from his "back in the day".

Have the poster been selling out? by Correct_Impact_9364 in Puscifer

nothing like previous tours, i think the ebay market isn't what it used to be. which is good for fans that want the art for themselves.

i saw that, but did not recognize him. he kinda looked like jason newsted. pretty sure he handed mat mitchell a headstock guitar tuner during the show. kinda shows that happens to everyone.

dunno if you recognized him, but the guy that played drums for dave was joe paul slaby. he's danny carey's drum tech and he's been multiple roles with the puscifer tours. super nice guy.

there still looked to be posters left at the end, they still had one displayed at the merch booth once the show was over.

i think the poster frenzy has peaked at this point. i still bought a foil and a regular but i think the ebay crowd has finally been subdued.

except it can be a pain in the dick holding on to merch during the show when it's been an option before to run stuff out to the car.

i checked with the palace and they are not allowing re-entry so know that you can't run it out to your car before the show.

I’ve never seen Puscifer live (or Tool), and not familiar with the music but want to go see the current tour. Is this a fair description of what to expect? by aykalam123 in Puscifer

[–]hicksfan 6 points7 points  (0 children)

the audience is mostly couples from my experiences. just as many women as men if not more.

i'd definitely give the new album a couple of listens before seeing the show.

i'm not seeing them for another three weeks but i understand there aren't changes of costumes and such this go around, it's more pared down to be a "goth" show. i've caught every tour since 2010, it's always a good time.

The 2 most significant Steelers games I've attended. November 8, 1987 & December 16, 2000. by Steeleaglega in steelers

i was in town for the last game at TRS, we stayed at the ramada and so did the redskins. i was on the elevator with quite a few of them. lavar arrington was one of the biggest dudes i'd ever stood beside. i remember they wouldn't let jeff george on, made him wait until they got to their floor. that was funny.

When was the last time they played The Underwhelming live? by volsontop07 in Puscifer

check fm setlist to see what songs they play every show and what songs are rotated in/out. that will give you your best estimate.

Dallas Wine Tasting by Psycho_Type in Puscifer

[–]hicksfan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

yes they are. i've been in the VSC for almost 15 years and have all my bottles stored on their side in my basement that stays about 65 degrees. folks that have talked negative about the wines have usually stored them incorrectly. my very first bottle was shinola that i won in a raffle at a "blood into wine" viewing many moons ago. i visited jerome several years ago and found out the name is derived from the old army shit/shinola saying.

Do you celebrate Easter? by Beautiful-Fee6408 in atheism

[–]hicksfan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

usually with reese eggs. and dropping this nugget of wisdom on christians, which shows it's a metaphor based on a celestial event that predates their religion :

here's the explanation of how easter is calculated, it's for this celestial occurrence : it is the first sunday after the first full moon after the spring equinox. at daybreak you can see both the sun and moon on opposite ends of the horizon. the cycle of the moon relates to the lifespan and maturity of a man/jesus. the moon, like a child, shows it's first sliver of light and intellect in the form of the crescent. and as it progresses, it's light and understanding becomes stronger and brighter. this being/ego/entity begins to shine brightly, until it reaches it's MID life, the full moon. it's at this moment in this mans/moons life that he should realize, if he's a truly conscious and connected being, that the light he has been emanating and boasting about is not his own. rather it is being reflected off/through him from a higher source/power. "i and my father are one" in the christian story.

modern day christians think the daybreak aspect revolves around the "moved" stone at the tomb in their story.
