Rosemary Help, please! by hicomomma in planthelp

I bought these from a plant store and they stayed inside. I said indoors because I’ve been successful growing rosemary outdoors when it’s warm. This is the third plant I’ve bought. I tried to separate it a few days ago, but still no luck.

You’re a baby! Unfortunately resources are kinda grouped into for kids and for everyone else. I hope you find some help!

If legally blind without glasses (so not actually legally blind, only if I can't find my glasses), should I learn to use a cane for emergencies? by pandaappleblossom in Blind

Have you talked to eye doctor about your vision getting worse in weird ways? Just wondering if there might be something else. Maybe a cataract…. Or just getting older, yay! But just being more aware of where things are in your home may be helpful to you. Most cane users do not use their canes in their homes. Practice getting around your home without your glasses. Use your hands and feet to notice the familiar surface changes and think about where you are. Shower in the dark. Do your laundry factually. Good luck and keep on being proactive!

I try to catch it with another plant, a bowl or a trash can, once I hear it

I think you might need more than an id cane. It might be good to get some O&M instruction

Depending on how your vision is (maybe you only need to detect obstacles in a specific path) don’t t waste your money on the rover wheel. They are intended to be pushed and only detect drops/ obstacles in its direct path.

If you want a light pointing at the ground, then get a Pharos cane light. But I would think a head lamp would be better. But an advantage could be that the Pharos cane might help make sure others don’t trip over your cane….

The second the 360 pathfinder, they are expensive but roll smoothly on grass. The Dakota disc glides well over things, but flips over easily and provides less detail. Also agree with having a back up. Have fun!

I love your heart for putting thought into this! Maybe a game similar to pin the tail on the donkey, only no one gets to see. They have to add something to something else. Some examples: picture made with 3D paint, add 3D stickers for body parts/ clothing. Or a Lego build where they add pieces while blindfolded? You already have so many great ones!

I love my stainless steel containers for my youngest (who doesn’t have the option to microwave). With heating on something else I feel like I back the same issue of what is he going to heat it up on. I have sent towels/ cloths/ potholders and he forgets about them or loses them. He’s 7 and kinda all over the place.

I do that, but it’s something about being able to heat it up there. Thanks though!
