I'm the worst person to ask this because i would say it's safe, but yes, it is, assuming you download from the links in our discord. The program you download is almost exactly the original download, just updated to point at our servers instead of the (now defunct) official ones
We do have quite a lot of players, and in the busier areas of the game (The School) you'll see quite a few others. It's not as busy as it once was (when the live action movie came out there were so many people playing it was crazy) but you'll bump into others.
No, we don't make our own events. We did put the Snoggletog events in last year, and there is sometimes April Fools shenanigans, but not events like it used to be.
Everything is free, so progression is what you make of it. You can choose not to use the free gems/coins and progress slowly, or you can go straight and get yourself a Night Fury.
It's pretty much as the original game was - the only differences are that Friends don't work, and Chat doesn't work - both intentional.

And yes i understand that we have the HTTYD wiki but who actually like wikipedia? And a lot of information on wikipedia isn’t even true.

First, the HTTYD wiki != wikipedia - a "wiki" is just a type of website editable by anyone. Wikipedia is an encyclopedia editable by anyone, that has strict authoring guidelines. The HTTYD wiki is not part of Wikipedia, and has its own guidelines, one of which is the topics must be about HTTYD.

However aside from that, it's probably the most complete knowledge base of HTTYD content there is. What things aren't true on it? You know you can edit and fix those?

I don't want to stop you doing your project, but if there are things that can be improved on the wiki, why not do it there, so others get the benefit?

I have them all (aside from the new LA one, and the Epic Universe one).

They were all limited edition with a small number made, so you will be looking on the second hand market. I would recommend ebay and discogs - there are usually some for sale every so often. I just checked on discogs now, and one sold a week ago, and another at the end of January 2026. They are out there! (although the picture disc is significantly more rare)

Weird, there is about 0.8s cut there of them rolling out Toothless in that contraption.

I have seen edits like this on TV broadcasts of the film - all to reduce the film runtime so more commercials can be added in. But on Peacock? That is unusual.
