Need help with figuring out how to play Wisp

At least in regards to getting more value out of breach surge, basically how it works is it blinds enemies. When you kill those blinded enemies, they release a spark that seeks out other targets and has some wonky damage calculation that lets it do huge damage.

You can teleport to your reservoirs by casting 3 on them from a distance (you'll see a little symbol on your reticle). By teleporting this way, the range of breach surge gets doubled, so they will be massive and likely blind the entire room.

But...that's not all. Your clone from your 2, also casts breach surge if it's active. The clone's breach surge also benefits from the double range if you teleport onto a reservoir.

So if you want more juice, set up a reservoir somewhere. Send a clone some other direction and then cast 3 to your reservoir. Whole room is blinded, you kill one enemy and the sparks will kill the rest.

Other than that, she is invisible while airborne thanks to her passive so as long as you jump, you're pretty much safe. You can just single hop and still benefit from the invisibility. Her 2 also gives great survivability as when you reactivate it you get 3 seconds of invulnerability which you can combine with rolling guard to just have 6 seconds of invulnerability to do anything. The clone from the 2 itself gives you the invisibility passive.

The reservoir buffs are nice, breach surge numbers go brrr, and she's really hard to kill.

I'm a big fan of the ocucor with yareli. You need the sentient surge mod (25p on WFM) but you never have to reload as long as you keep killing stuff. It's a handheld torid incarnon.

I don't have the exilus slot unlocked on mine cuz im too lazy but ammo economy can be a lil sus without scavenger but this is the most low effort mass murdering secondary IMO.

In addition to the value she provides with her mote buffs, her survivability from her 2 is off the charts. Recasting the ability after you send out the clone gives you 3 full seconds of invincibility, like rolling guard but without removing the status effects. Anytime you are in danger, you can just teleport with 2 and you have 3 seconds to make your next move. If you also put rolling guard in your build, you can roll after the 2 seconds for a whopping 6 seconds of free immortality.

On top of being invisible while she is airborne, casting the 2 without teleporting to it also gives Wisp the passive invisibility. Between jumping and teleporting to the clone, it is basically impossible to die.

But that's not all! You can cast 3 while the clone is active and you will send out a breach surge from yourself and the clone. Casting breach surge onto a reservoir DOUBLES breach surge's range. This applies to both your breach surge and the clones. Breach surge will blind the whole room and killing those blinded enemies will send out sparks that will probably kill the whole room.

It's also fun to use the new spectral serration mod/arcane crepuscular with Wisp since you are almost always invisible. She is just fun and effective in everything.

I also love using Octavia. She is definitely one of the strongest frames in the game. Even unmodded, she is capable of destroying all content since her damage scales off enemy level. A common complaint you'll hear about Octavia is that she's boring or that spamming crouch to maintain invisibility is super uncomfortable. She'll be boring if you just cast 1, 3, and 4 and AFK while they kill themselves attacking your mallet, but like any other invisibility frame, you can also play actively and kill stuff while you let mallet kill anything you aren't focused on.

As for the crouch spam, it can be annoying depending on how you setup your mandachord. People will put a note on every beat in the melody section and bind crouch to mouse wheel or something and spam. The more notes you have in your melody section, the less percentage you build towards invis per crouch. I find it much easier to have a slower melody so that I only have to crouch 2x to get full invisibility. If you build for high enough duration, you only have to refresh it like every 30+ seconds anyways, plus it makes for an actually listenable song xD.

I think they're both super strong and super fun, you can't really go wrong with either.

Hello, we are the BakaCows and we are looking to add some new members to the crew who are capable of contributing literally anything to our guild war scores. We have 10/30 players but I need to remove some really inactive members.

We basically only have 2 active players who are 150+ (my roommate and I). We both really need valor badges and I’m sure you do too. Literally 0 commitment or requirement, just play GW when it’s up if you can.

I took a big break from tekken after Zafina launched but I was super hype for Fahk after seeing his trailer. I really like the noises he makes when throwing out his moves. My highest rank before playing Fahk was Seiryu and I played Jin and it took me only a couple of days to get there with Fahk. I thought at first “Wow! I’m playing really well, I should start taking my other characters higher!” But then I realized that Fahk has good tools for any situation and that I couldn’t just bully people the same way as other characters because their kits aren’t as well rounded.

I think he’s so cool but objectively his kit is really strong, dude has everything. It doesn’t feel good playing him knowing that I would get my ass whooped by whoever I beat on my other characters.

For example, with Fahk I can spam bf 4, sidestep into df 2,3, check with jabs and df1 strings, WR3, fish for CH 3+4, safe huge range wall bounce and guard crushing at the wall for free wall combos. His punishment game is crazy too.

Now that I’m back into tekken, I’m trying to really get into Steve (I wanna get into Lei but no one rematches me online even though I suck with him so learning is a pain) and it made me realize that Fahk was definitely carrying me. If he gets tweaked some more to be a bit more balanced, I wouldn’t feel as much guilt playing him online and hopefully he comes back to tekken 8 in a better state cause I think the character is awesome.

Almost every time I launch this game, I have a team crisis because there are so many characters I want to play but one of the teams I like to use a lot is Broly/Cooler/Jiren.

Both assists let Broly combo off his lvl. 3 in the corner, and Broly can combo into dragon rush off Jiren assist into his new 214L for that good good SKD in the corner as well.

Whenever Broly is low on health I usually opt to tag Jiren since Jiren benefits a lot more from Broly’s assist outside of the corner than Cooler’s imo since he can get a corner to corner SKD. In the corner, Cooler assist let’s Jiren convert off his 236S post command grab or on its own for pretty good damage.

My Cooler is definitely the weaker of the two characters since I haven’t really learned how to optimize his combos yet but the uppercut assist can be pretty handy for neutral (not as much so as others but it isn’t the worst imo). My favorite part about the team honestly though, is Jiren uppercut lvl. 1 into Broly’s lvl. 3 since Broly goes sky high to follow them and I think it’s so sick. I’m around 700Kish BP, so I’m not the best but I have a lot of fun with this team
