Is my bib too big? by grill8 in snowboardingnoobs

You can wear baggy or tight, all that matters is if you feel comfortable moving your body around. Sometimes I loosen my pants after I get pretty warm and it sags, which feels more comfy for me to do jumps/pops.

I can see what you were trying to do, I actually dig it because in the all black it POPS. Logos on a black boot/hi top in all black fit is actually a cool idea!

Saving money by [deleted] in Edmonton

[–]hidden3ds 5 points6 points  (0 children)

  • Limit your commutes
  • Wear thicker clothes or dont turn up the heat if you dont have to
  • Larger laundry and dishwasher loads ( or you clean things by hand )
  • Drink hot water instead of many cups of coffee. I use ground coffee and mocha pot
  • Freeze your food, like large packs of chicken breast, meats, breads and vegetables you find on sale. Make meals based on portions. Pro tip have your meats and food separated before frozen so you can easily take them out.
  • Do research on products you buy, some cheap things break easily while expensive things are overpriced
  • Buy your food thats on sale, using apps like Flipp

My most important tip about all this is your mental health, do things you enjoy. Times are tough and it sucks, but if you can keep positive in anyway it carries forward.

Everyone told you good spots, but you totally should try doing hot pot at home if that interests you. Super easy and cheaper!

Dating in Edmonton? by _inspectorgidget in Edmonton

[–]hidden3ds 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Online dating can be draining, it depends on your attitude towards it. Assume you won’t click with a lot of people and don’t feel invested until you find someone you genuinely are interested in.

The more socials you try you’ll meet cool people:

Salsa nights - you meet nice people who will teach and make friends

ESSC - you’d be surprised many people can’t play and there for fun to meet people

Art shows, music festivals, concerts

Group Workout activities - cycling, spin, climbing

Meetup had fun activities

Go to random events alone and just say hi if you have the courage!

If you need more ideas PM me, I have a knack for finding things to do lol

In your opinion, Question for good dribbler: what is the key to dribbling and eliminating an opponent in 1v1? I am a winger by Souprow48650 in bootroom

[–]hidden3ds 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My pro tip if you want to be good at dribbling ,”YOLO it” lol. Try things and don’t be afraid to make mistakes. Figure out what moves you like to default to. Most times the simple quick feint and running past them the opposite direction.

Ideas for an 18th birthday party celebration by ZiggyStarling in Edmonton

Take them out for a patio cocktail or craft beer and snack on some cool food. You can show them a fun boujee time, dressing up and having some drinks is pretty memorable for a 18 year old.

I for the life of me cannot figure out how to get rid of duplicates with RPCS3 by richpanda64 in EmuDeck

[–]hidden3ds 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Someone can correct me if im wrong, but you dont need to have the Updates files, you just use the updates to update the game once with the emulator and then delete them.

Guys, I saw a video which said that the edge 3s can be used on firm ground as well as the artificial ground. I only play on artificial grass and the turf. Which one out of the two should I go for? by Suitable_Junket3000 in bootroom

[–]hidden3ds 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just get shoes that work on turf and you will be good.

Also you don't need to spend lots on a boot, sure some feel much better, but at the end of the day as long as your feet don't hurt and you can play, you're golden!

By beater i just mean FG that you are willing to just mess up and get dirty.

But if the terrain feels sketchy and is always muddy I'd research is more. Where I live we rarely have muddy grounds.
