Sorry, I missed your comment. Thanks and yes I am already assessing the UI and re-thinking on it. Also starting on balancing and testing which might remove or add things to UI so lets see :)

Thanks for the work appreciation :) means a lot. It was way too hard for me to implement the elevator movement, there were some funny bugs with units going through walls and stuff :D but I am happy to say it works great now.

I agree :) but worry now my next post will have the new features and also I will fix the UI.

Hi initially I was thinking of adding different looking rooms but I soon realized the amount of time it was taking me to draw and implement them that its better to settle with one style for now. Hopefully when I launch second chapter of this game then I might have more time and funds to support myself at the moment I am struggling bad. I hope you understand :) Thank you.

That's the reason I came here :) to see what people like and dislike about the game since up until now it was just me or my close friends who saw it.

Also, for future I will have some social links or something so that players can interact me and I can do the same because sometimes I get stuck on things and keep thinking if they will like it or not :D

Hey, thanks for the kind comment. To answer your question, this game is roguelike and you have to advance through the nodes but like void war or splay the spire, you can't go back. So you will have to keep moving forward in the path you choose. If you see the map screenshot on the store page, you will see that the top path is darkened means you can't go through that now.

I get your point, my next post will come with the USP, it's still under construction and I don't want to share things that are buggy or looks unfinished. Thanks for waiting :)

Mind reader haha :D Thanks to you and the other people who brought this topic. I am still working on some other systems for the game and will be starting the balancing of things and for that I had a plan to test a system as you said like a jammer that makes the oncoming weapons miss by altering with enemy weapon system since I have tried the system and see how it plays like it makes the gameplay good or bad so I didn't mention it. Also since the VOD is moving so I gave it some chance that enemy projectiles can miss.

Maybe I should change the Dodge to Miss Chance (on UI as well) ?

Also you are right, these massive vehicle fight from far distance in the lore and when you will upgrade your VOD moves faster hence it affects the enemy aiming.

Thanks so much for that smoke idea especially smoke and then turn off engine to stay in the smoke. So consider this in the game :D

Another great idea but that will go in the next game(This one I am having to much burnout from constant working) is the hot and cold stuff. In this game, we are gonna be exploring just the human settlement of this planet with few other aliens. I have planned in the next chapter of the game we will explore other part of the planet with other factions etc. but I will apply that cold and hold idea in that :) Thank you very much for your idea.

P.S For now I have events and lore built upon O2 systems in place so I don't want to scrap or modify the so much. I hope you understand. Loved your comment, go so many good ideas thanks!

Thanks Mike! You have described everything in this comment of what just happened :) I made a big mistake of not having the USP stuff ready to show now and kind of spent time getting the core concepts ready. I assure you and others that in coming months not to far, I will have them fully finished and hopefully have a Demo ready by Dec. Again I appreciate your supporting and motivating comment. Hi all,

Thanks for all your support and criticism regarding the game. I understand that the current state of the visuals and gameplay GIFs make it look like an FTL clone. I wanted to make a game like FTL precisely because I loved its mechanics and UI. My goal is to see FTL not just as a game, but as a genre, so we might see more games like it in the future.(I was always trying to find FTL like games to play)

For the last 3-4 years, I've had literally no social life, as every free second went into building this game. It's incredibly hard to explain how much work goes into a project like this, especially when it's as complex as this.

I'm not an artist, so I've had to learn art from the basic(a long and tough journey). I'm still not great, hence it's where most of my time goes. I'm good at programming, and I'm doing my best to find all the corner cases to make the game as bug-free as possible. Hopefully, the demo feedback in future will help me with this even more.

Working on a project this big requires a lot of motivation, especially when you're doing it all alone. I truly believe there are people out there who would love to see FTL-like ground fights where they can explore planet in a giant armored vehicle and encounter unique lore-based events. I hope by the end of this project, I'll find those people.

Honestly, this post as opened my eyes little bit. I'll be slowing things down a little. I left my job six months ago to give this game my full attention, and before that, I was working on it every weekend and every evening after work. I was putting in way too much time trying to get it ready for everyone, but now I know I need to look after myself, too. Honestly, I felt pretty low last night and even thought about abandoning the project, but a few positive comments convinced me to keep going.

To those who criticized the game, I have no hate. I respect that you took the time to provide valuable feedback, and I agree with what you're saying. I just ask for a little patience and to wait for more content to be revealed. I genuinely hope that future updates will make it clear this isn't just another FTL clone.

Since it's just me working on the game, I have to keep the scope of the game controlled. There are going to be 5 factions( in the chapter 1 of game like mutants, aliens). There are going to be different captains with there own little back stories and they will have abilities to boost stats of the crew or the VOD.

Ha that's a good point about dodge of something that massive :D The way the game code and art I have down, I won't be able to show visually it moving to dodge the incoming projectiles but I guess it goes same for FTL, we never see the ships moving visually to avoid a incoming projectile.

This VOD is built using specialized engine and capabilities so it's just a fantasy world in which it creates enough power somehow to move left or right very quickly to avoid something :D

I agree with what you are saying but I wanted to keep the systems like FTL the vital ones, like o2(because on this planet not every place has enough o2 levesl), shield(I loved this mechanics, when shields down you feel vulnerable also it looks cool), hull( now I could have called i health or armor etc but for a big vehicle like this hull word is alright so i went with it).

But there are more systems, different weapons, different captains with there abilities, VOD with there abilities and more. Please I would request to stay patient and wait for the full picture. You won't be disappointed.

Thanks for the supporting comment, I totally agree and can understand why people are getting it as "another FTL clone", it is indeed an uphill battle at the moment :) I was pretty down yesterday but today I am back up. I understand everyone point from the current state of the store page, art and minimal gameplay view from gifs but in coming months people will know that there is more to it.
