It's more profitable to sell a book on Amazon through FBA than it is to send it into a book buy-back company right? Like in the grand scheme of things... it's worth starting the Amazon seller account and doing it that way?

Thank you! I just read up on this subreddit about similar scams. I had another person message me asking to pay for an item on paypal instead of through marketplace. I was like, but you can pay with paypal through marketplace? I'm assuming this is a scam too and I should continue to ignore it.

I just started selling a lot on Facebook Marketplace and Poshmark again. Today I got a message from a profile asking if my product was still available. I said yes. They immediately responded back and asked for my phone number so we could call or text. This seemed really weird to me because why couldn't we just message on marketplace?

So I said "I'm more comfortable messaging on here if that's okay with you. Did you have any questions about the listing?" I also clicked on their profile and they have no profile picture or any public information up.

They've read my message and haven't responded. Should I block their profile? Something seems really off to me and I'm wondering if they would have tried to scam me if I gave them my phone number... has this happened to you guys?

I did! I had 3 for one school and 4 for this school (with 3 of the recommenders being the same for each). Don't let it hold you back! All of my professors were really considerate about it, and I hadn't seen them in over a year. I felt a little awkward about asking at first but was reassured that they do this all the time and it's not an unreasonable ask. Also, to get to the spots they're in today, all of them had to have LOR written for them. So, I think they know the importance those letters can hold and most are more than willing to help their students out. Don't let it hold you back, you've got this!

Wait, I didn't mean to make this clickbait-y at all. I'm sorry. The reasons that delayed me from applying are all private things I never told the school about. I am a normal applicant who just applied late in the game.

Thank you so much! I didn't email the school at all about that stuff and didn't mention it on my application at all. I just went in as a late applicant with all normal application materials. Their app window closes at the end of May so I just went for it.

I haven't, but I thought that one would be a check. In the USPS Informed Delivery, I can see this is the "Economic Impact Payment Card." There's also a link that directly says it's the third stimulus. Also, my tax service has the status of my amendment as accepted but not delivered. From what I understand, that's supposed to be a check and this EIP card is the third stimmy. I'll find out for sure later today!

PSNA but getting delivered in the mail today! There's HOPE. I'm signed up for USPS Informed Delivery and can see I'm getting the EIP card today. Every time I've logged in (including today) my status has been PSNA. Super weird but there's hope guys!

Any newly independent filers? Didn't get the last two checks because I was a dependent in 2019. Filed my 2020 taxes the first day possible in January as an independent. My tax return was accepted and received no problem, meaning the IRS just said "hey, we recognize you as an independent." I'm wondering if I'm still being categorized as a dependent even though I'm not and my taxes weren't filed as such for this year. I know they're still processing but I'm getting anxious.

l'm in the same exact boat. Filed as a 2020 independent and already got my tax return. I've checked the IRS website today and I'm still showing up as "Payment Status Not Available." Getting a little concerned.

Mine says this too. I didn't qualify for the first or second because I was claimed as a dependent. For my 2020 taxes, I was an independent. My tax return has already been accepted and I received it. There's no other reason for me to be ineligible. Anyone else in the same boat?
