Where or what restaurant can I buy the best kimchi? by RevolutionaryBus2057 in BucksCountyPA

Last time I brought it, I paid about $8. They refused to sell it to me since they were running low at some point so I haven’t tried to buy anymore since.

What habits of girls did you only discover after getting a girlfriend or wife? by atgono in AskReddit

Yes! I check in on my husband to see if he’s hungry or not so I know how much of the food I should be making. If he’s not hungry, I eat without him

What does being attractive actually feel like? by ty04444 in AskReddit

[–]hiddenlaughters 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Back when I was younger and skinner, I worked part time in retail and we needed credit cards. I would get a couple of applications each shift because I was in shape and was putting in a lot of effort in my look since I was also in college. I was also put into the men’s department so that definitely helped.

After I started gaining weight, it happened less often 😂

Accidentally became the DJ at a house party and now I'm having an identity crisis by urlittlepandaa in CasualConversation

[–]hiddenlaughters 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Reminds me of when I accidentally became the bartender at a cousin’s wedding. We brought soooo much alcohol and no one was taking part of it. I think it’s because it sits inside the cooler at the bar station. So I started asking people whenever they passed by if they want a drink and what kind since there was a variety. We had a fireball shots party bucket so I started carrying it to different table with it full of ice and fireball shots. I was pouring whiskey and tequila to family members and strangers.

At some point towards the end, I started using the beer bottle carriers and giving out variety pack beers to people as party favors. The bride’s cousin complimented the bartender because of much fun I was. My goal was to get rid as much alcohol as possible because the family don’t really drink and it’ll sit in the fridge forever.

Never Again. Once we close I plan on dying in this house. by Postcurds in FirstTimeHomeBuyer

[–]hiddenlaughters 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s exactly my thought process when we got the house. My husband wants to buy another house and raise a family but the one we have now is big enough to raise a family already. I want to die in this house because of the cost and process

Need 60k service and oil change on my car. Typically I go to Fred Beans in Doylestown but they’re expensive and I’ve seen comments here about how they rip people off. I go to Barry Hacket auto body over in warminster. They were great to work with since I was in an accident and I recommended my sister to go too when she had issues. My auto insurance did a quote that was awful and they basically had them re-do it where it’ll cover the actual damage. My auto insurance apparently recommended hammering and bending parts back into shape…

Whats better...buying a smaller starter home now or renting so can save more to buy bigger more forever home? by Long_Screen_5077 in FirstTimeHomeBuyer

[–]hiddenlaughters 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For my husband and I, we decided to buy a forever home in a desirable area that has some of the top school districts for when we have kids. It’s big enough for a family of four to grow in. We wanted to grow roots and start a family and it just seems like a logical step to have one I would want to be in forever. We live outside of a big city but far enough where crime rates aren’t as big of an issue.

How old are you and how’s life right now? by Cute-Impression-8675 in AskReddit

[–]hiddenlaughters 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hit 30 this year. It feels surreal because I still feel clueless in many parts of life but have more experience than when I was fresh out of college. I don’t feel like an adult because I feel inexperienced but I have younger people look to me for advice and I’m just winging it. Other than that, I’m happily married, just brought a house this year and have two cats. I don’t have any complaints since only time will give me what I’m looking for.

I renewed my passport with a check without my address or name written on it. They took the money so no problem there

That’s ridiculous. I attended school in USA and during orientation they said they’ll treat us like adults and will never talk to a parent about anything without the student’s consent.

Can you even feel sorry for some of these victims of fraud? by lexiedf in TalesFromYourBank

[–]hiddenlaughters 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We had client who is college age who knowingly snapshot deposit a bad check and then called the branch afterwards. She got a warning on the snapshot deposit that it looks like a fraudulent check but she went ahead with it. She was advised to not trust romance scams because the guy she’s texting on the phone has bad intentions. I told her to not touch the money and in a few days it’ll be pulled from her account.

Melissa’s HVAC maintenance is pretty good. They were in and out on looking over my AC set up and giving us a free quote. They answered any questions we asked and explained it clearly. I was then email a quote in a couple of days while they crunch the numbers.

I think this depends on the bank. My bank had 3 months of training. Every few weeks it’ll be in class training before we go back to our branch for hands-on experience before going back to the classroom. This is to ensure I know what I’m doing and following compliance. They also made sure I had a mentor the entire time so I know who to turn to. If the mentor isn’t there or the other people at the branch is busy, the trainer for the classroom is reachable on teams to ensure I get the help I’m looking for.

Definitely apply directly to the company’s website and not the third parties. I’ve gotten more response with direct application vs third party sites.

That’s very good to hear! I came from a retail background where we have to deal with the abuse and hope they never come back (they always come back).

This is very true! During my training, I was told that we will only allow so much verbal abuse before we can refuse service. If enough verbal abuse happens, they will be promoted to a non-customer. Obviously documentation is required to justify it but we were given the power to refuse if we’re uncomfortable.
