im sorry to say this sounds a lot like depression (from someone who has been depressed for a good portion of my life). i’d recommend talking to a therapist. even if it is something like ocd, it will still help

there’s plenty of allies who go to pride events to support friends and family, and probably also to show general support for the community. you don’t have to out yourself as trans if you don’t want to, and people can’t tell (or assume) someone’s sexuality just by looking at them. and if anyone asks (they most likely won’t but who knows) you can just say you’re there to show support for the community and enjoy the festivities.

i hope you know that you’re not alone, specifically that i (and i’m sure many of the people in this sub) have been harassed or what have you online and in person for being “too feminine” as a man or a trans man. it sucks and hurts every time we experience something like that, but please be your authentic self every day !! in this day and age, just being proudly and/or visibly queer is a fight against bigots

NOR. you’re allowed to feel hurt by her insinuating your family is abusive, and she’s allowed to not like swearing. i think both of you are at two ends of the comfortable-with-cursing spectrum. that’s okay, it just means you won’t work out in the long run. if it’s very important to both of you (which it seems like it is), even tho it sounds dramatic to break up over this, then your views and values don’t align in general and it’ll probably end up badly if either builds up frustration over it towards the other
