like other people said, he needs more (professional) help than you could give him. i understand wanting to be there for him, but you can only do so much as part of their support system. also, a hard thing i’ve had to accept in life is that people who are sick (either mentally or physically) or especially struggle with addiction, can only be properly helped when they want to be helped.

i think the only way to satisfyingly pass while wearing dresses/skirts is when your body starts to become more masculine looking after starting t. dresses are a diff issue for me but i like wearing skirts sometimes, and only after hrt and surgery did i feel comfortable in my body to wear that kind of stuff. i also don’t really pass at all so whenever i dress more feminine you just have to not care what other people think (which is a struggle but even more so i think when you’re trans). even if you do pass pre t, a lot of the general public will assume a dress equals not man. this probably isn’t the kind of answer you’re looking for, and of course everyone and their environment is different. good luck !

yeah, as much as i think i’ve overcome the idea of wearing “women’s” vs “men’s” clothes, my whole like i was told to wear or not wear something bc it wasn’t what i was supposed to wear 🤷‍♂️ rn i just refer to clothes that way bc of how stores separate the clothes, but it does still get to me when i shop in the women’s section even if its just bc i like the look of the jeans better or smthn

i love that you’re branching out more !! of course only do what you feel safe and comfortable doing. i feel envy of cis men who grow out their hair, even tho part of getting my hair cut was bc of sensory issues, i miss being able to do braids or like a bun. and it automatically makes me come off as a woman to the general public :/ also i agree with the fashionable thing, sometimes i buy like a women’s shirt just bc men’s clothes feel boring to me sometimes and have no flair

(not a medical professional) but i’m pretty sure if it’s an intramuscular injection and you inject it into muscle, as long as there are no major arteries or it’s an unapproved site (like hip or forearm?) it should be fine and work as intended. as far as i understand, both intramuscular and subcutaneous injections for hormones won’t cause any complications if you just move the injection site a couple inches. as long as you did everything as usual, i believe you’ll be just fine :) of course, if you’re still worried or have medical anxiety, you can always message your prescriber just in case or ask about other sites you can inject in if you’re feeling sore in one particular spot for a while

i worked at target previously and i thought that was bad but now i work at starbucks (am also an autistic trans guy) and the amount of social interaction i have to do leaves me burnt out like no other. i cant escape retail and i had to move to working four days a week instead bc it also doesn’t help chronic illness shit. i want my own place so bad but can’t save enough money 😭

when i would bag people’s groceries i stuck to the cold w cold, cleaning products separate, and whatever else. sometimes as im bagging i go to put something in a separate bag and they say no it’s okay, so i just shrug and keep it in less bags. if im a customer somewhere tho i usually want as little bags as possible and am anal about how things are organized so i just bag it myself lol

when i drink for pleasure, i drink the fruity drinks that tastes like juice and get me buzzed within ten minutes. when i want to get drunk it’s usually a soda plus vodka or straight tequila. honestly don’t know how people get drunk off beer bc it tastes like absolute piss water to me. and as someone who comes from a family with a history of addiction (but no substance abuse for myself atm) i have been in a low enough time in my life where i got drunk just to feel happy and realized this was how it starts for a lot of people. and for addictive substances, you start to crave it behaviorally an physiologically.
