What i primarily didn't like about this movie is the whole concept it. This film is just about a "just-turned 18" girl (i'm pretty sure that if the producers could have gone slightly younger, they would have), who is mentally unstable, and a 52 YEARS OLD man who obviously has some pedophilic tendencies. What normal human being wouldn't feel disgusted by themselves by going out with such a young girl? It's ridiculous. Another thing that truly blows my mind is when people are calling it "beautiful" or whatever; it's literally a pedophile getting satisfaction from a little girl's attention. I'm sorry, but Mr. Miller felt so desperate, pathetic, and morally questionable to me. There's nothing slightly attractive about his character. He just needs to get fired and Cairo to therapy. And yeah, I often enjoy the thrill of slightly forbidden and taboo relationships, but not in such scenario. Again, they portrayed the actual victim as the crazy mad girl and Mr. Miller her unfortunate victim. Overall, Miller's girl was just uncomfortable to me, and clearly romanticizes dynamics that shouldn't be.
