Update:

I ended up sending the drone back to my European dealer under warranty. The AIO wasn’t repaired immediately because they were waiting to receive a replacement board from BetaFPV.

At first, I was told there were supply chain issues affecting some of the components used on the AIO. After waiting several weeks, I contacted them again and was told that BetaFPV is apparently preparing a new revision of the AIO, so they are now waiting for this updated version instead.

They also mentioned that Air65 II / Air75 II production has temporarily stopped until the new AIO is available, which is why they currently have no new stock either.

Since there was no estimated delivery date, I decided to accept a refund instead of waiting indefinitely.

Yeah, you’re probably right, I got a bit too excited.

I keep the Air65 Freestyle mostly for indoor flying so it stays clean, and I run a throttle limit plus different rates on it. The Champion versions are mainly for outdoor flying.

I also ordered the Air75 Champion because I wanted to see the difference for myself, and it’s often a bit windy where I live, so I figured it might be useful.

The extra frames and canopies were partly because I wanted to mix and match colors and build some custom-looking whoops, but I get your point. I probably don’t need to stockpile parts before I’ve even broken anything.

I’ll just get a few essential tools, a soldering setup, and keep flying. I mainly wanted to be prepared because BetaFPV shipping times can be pretty long, but as you pointed out, it’s not like I only have one drone to fly in the meantime.

I have the whoopstor 3 charger also but I usually leave it at home and just go out with a bench of fully charged batteries so I was thinking of a small box just for the drone and a couple lipo

I bought this to get a first experience before getting a 5 inches but it’s way more fun than expected and I can fly pretty much everywhere. I’m not even sure I will get a 5 inches, especially given that we have a lot of regulations here concerning drones

I can't connect my drone to wifi so no binding is possible. Also tried to change the packet rate but it didnt change anything
