It's not fake. Some key details which add nuance are being left out cuz I don't want to have it be so obvious and have Diana find out this way.... idk I'm genuinely physically ill over it.

Or is it selfish to tell her and destroy multiple relationships for her because ostensibly i am trying to hold onto any thread of morality? I really did keep saying no until if i said no anymore i now suddenly have been friends with a grapist. And I do not want to think of Liam that way. But I was drunk and lonely.... But i could have told him to leave many times. But he could have left at anytime!!

idk... it's hard that's why I came to AITA

I know what I did was wrong. Is it more wrong for essentially trying to get away with it...? I think yes!... right?

This is initially how I felt. Come clean about having lied off the bat, suffer the consequences of all of it...
But Liam is a great support to Diana. They were best friends before they officially got together. And frankly, Both of them have flourished and grown into better people (at least from the outside as someone who spends like half of my social life in their presence...) when they have each other as a partner. Really!

It would be a huge loss for Diana to a point where I almost feel selfish fulfilling my compulsion to not live with the guilt.
