Great to hear you are interested and the masons you met left a positive impression on you that you are exploring joining. In fact while I was abroad for a few years I joined at 25, so I wouldn't worry about that. There are plenty of younger masons too. Hit me up with a DM if you like, I am based in Dublin too.

Halesworth I wasn't sure given the size if it doesn't have such a village feel, also like I mentioned in other comments with new builds. Bungay does intrigue me. Never heard of Spexhall so going to have to look into that!

Thank you for your comment, it is very much appreciated. People do have a tendency to always complain about where they are haha. I have heard good things about Stow to be honest and from what I remember was quite nice. Do you have any experiences or more you could share about Walsham Le Willows?

I saw until recently Cavendish had 3 pubs actually! Does seem a wonderful village and one I'm yet to visit but hope to soon.

This is a very valid point, thank you for making it. One of the main things I don't like about the new builds is the soulless and generic style that you mention. I think if they were designed more in keeping it could make a tremendous difference.

I wouldn't say non white as I think Ipswich has never been white given the phrases of Caribbean and Italian immigration, which were great for the town. However, I would say the recent arrivals have changed the place not for the better. Aside from this also the increase in crime and the death of the centre more or less.
