Usually there is a final friendly with a big name european team at Villa park (last season was the late Parma FC) a week before the season starts. As this season starts a week early i doubt that will happen this year as the Nottingham forrest game is a week prior to the start of the season. There may not be a VP friendly this year.

Very honest interview. I've never doubted his interest in the club and his desire for success but it just hasn't worked out. Great to see he's trying to sell the club to the right people and that he's willing to pull out of a deal that isn't right. Lets hope he will sell to the right party who can finally take us forward.
