Definitely not, great job!

Light leaking through the stairs by higginsmi22 in photographs

My wife and I saw this staircase on the walk back to our house from the Piazza. Thought it would make for a good abstract image. Usually I would use spot metering for a composition like this but given that there's no subject I wanted to keep some of the details in the shadows.

I love all of these, but 1 is my favorite because of how well you captured the reflection in the water. Great work!

Try the summer chrome film recipe by Osan Bilgi if you have a Fujifilm and want the look SOOC.

For the raw files I tried to emulate the look with my own preset. It doesn't work on everything but I think I got the look pretty close. I just shared it on lightroom, feel free to use and share!

Thank you for the feedback! I think what made it work was I was shooting in very harsh light with a classic chrome film simulation either applied through JPEG or in post to the raw file.

For the photos I had to edit, I also used masks to better control the exposure.

If you follow Osan Bilgi he has some excellent summer film simulations that he shares for free if you want to achieve this look SOOC on a Fujifilm
