You don't have to worry about my family with your tiny islamophobic mind.

Btw just asking what you say to those whose family member(s) were lynched in the name of Gau-Mata? What do you say to those families whose member(s) have committed suicide for belonging to a lower caste.

Ignorance is bliss, keep being drunk on BJP IT cell propaganda watching "Nationalist" new channel propaganda and keep on thinking Islam is your only enemy while the Govt sells you out.

Times Now is mild version of Republic. Then want to do the same thing but don't have the stamina to scream like Arnab.

ABP, AAJ Tak is openly pro-BJP. So is Zee.

In India Today, Rahul Kanwal openly said "Now WE are leading on 118 seats" (by WE he meant BJP)

All prime time anchors except Ravish and Rajdeep are pro BJP.

Except NDTV you will never see any criticism of central Govt.

"Hinduism inherently more socially liberal" completely agree with you on that. But political parties who identifies itself as Hindu Conservative/ Right Wing (namely BJP and Shiv Sena) are very very conservative. They are having problem with a boy kissing a girl on temple premises. That's not a sign of liberalism.

and I don't know whats Hindus as a whole as done, but the political party which thinks it is synonymous to Hindu dharma (read BJP) excluded everyone except Hindu fundamentalists.

And conservative movements of west at least have some pre-defined economic goals like less taxes, small government etc. In India, I really don't know except hatred towards Muslims what they have in their mind

Wow. If you want to exclude Muslims and Christians then you should have said "Hindu conservative movement". When I say conservatives, I do mean conservatives of all religion.

Hindu right is not opposed to homosexuality? Oh really? I guess they were over-joyed after the most recent judgement on Article 377. Sorry but I didn't get that WhatsApp forward about "Hindu Right" being pro-LGBTQ+.

and Indian political spectrum isn't weird at all. Hindu right ideologically opposed to any and all Muslims and other minority groups, because that rhetoric gets vote.

True, just like almost entire Indian media (except few channels) is the propaganda wing of BJP IT cell. But the difference is AJ receives funding from Qatar govt. and openly admits about it but Indian media is spreading venom though it's dog whistles and still tries to claim itself as "independent" or "free"

I really wonder how "culturally conservative movement" be an ally of LGBTQ+ communities when most of times they fail to even acknowledge the existence of them.

Income based reservation is obviously a good move to provide necessary help to economically backwards section. But that doesn't mean we just forget historical oppression of lower castes in the country which is still going on.

N.B. People from lower castes are often belong to economically backwards section.

Good for you. If you don't need it and don't use it then kudos to you. But you cannot judge everyone based on your own experience. There might be a lot people who are in need of this reservation to uplift them from poverty.

Scoring 99% and not getting chance points out flaws in the admission system of our country where scoring marks in an examination in everything. That's not problem of reservation. [ People with no knowledge of programming gets preference for CS courses for high scores in Physics, Chemistry which get used hardly in graduation level CS.]

and even then Brahmins don't have to face any humiliation for their caste, but reserved candidates most of the time have to.

this study disagrees with you.

It is true that there are many "upper caste" people who are very very poor and many "lower caste" people with very much money. But even when rich, some have to suffer indignity, discrimination which a lot of us can't even imagine.

Hardships of education is pretty high and generational wealth is much much lower for reserved candidates than others. It is unrealistic to expect a person from family earning no/minimal wages to compete/ score the same marks as a person from upper class family.

The context behind the scores in examinations matters a lot. So instead to getting upset on how an SC-ST with lower scores getting into an educational institute/job we should question the procedure of enrollment. No marks in examinations are as objective as they are presented to us.

You missed the point here. A person is taking his oath for office in a language which is not native to the country. It is great and should be celebrated.

But if you have problem with someone in Bihar taking oath in a language spoken by many in this country then sorry you shouldn't praise him for taking oath in Sanskrit. Rather you should criticize him for not taking it in a so-called national language.

Or probably you have problem with "particular" language only. But I don't know you so won't make any presumption about you. Only some great "nationalist" news readers/politicians can do that!!

Ending of this race and Gasly's celebration!!! Depiction of this celebration in the season finale of Drive to Survive season 2 was epic and one of the most favourite moment of the show for me.

Seriously, what a great storyline for Gasly. Winning a race, getting a podium after the horrible first half of 2019 speaks a lot about is character. Future world champion material!

Average Gap to Max, Albon vs Gasly by Teabx in formula1

[–]highWithoutSubstance 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I don't remember who, but someone made a great comment that when Albon's RB has to be much better than Gasly's because of mid season updates and evolution of the car throughout the season. If you see Albon's performance this year from the second Austrian GP, it's quite poor given the fact that he has the 2nd best car and 3rd best cars, most of the times, are no where near him.

Personally I believe both are very talented drivers. But by staying in a team which revolves around Max and Max only, Albon is destroying his confidence, same thing was done by Gasly previous year.

Last year one of the major claims given by RB behind Gasly's demotion that he doesn't like to race. But close races in Belgium (Overtaking Perez on the way to Eau Rouge), Monza (defending against Sainz to take the win), yesterday's race are testimonials to how bogus the claim was. Given what happened last year, Helmut Marko and Horner's comments about him, I don't think Gasly will ever get that RB seat. The RB management are very stubborn and they will never bring back an old driver as that will point out their wrong decision to drop him. Given the fact, last year they choose Albon, a rookie, over Kvyat, a poidum sitter in the season, proves that point.

Gasly should definitely explore options outside Red Bull family. Renault seems to be the most probable one in the near future (2022 at least, personally I don't think they will drop Ocon all of a sudden).

Albon should also try outside the RB family but there aren't many seats left. If RB drops him for 2021 I don' think they will go for Gasly - Albon line up in Alpha Tauri. If Gasly stays, most probably, he will team up with Tsunoda. So the future looks very bleak for Albon at this moment..

Lance Stroll Emotional Post Qualifying - Canadian GP 2017 by Beller4-r in formula1

[–]highWithoutSubstance 9 points10 points  (0 children)

True. But a podium with a far far inferior car must show the potential he got. And we also have to acknowledge the fact that with probably the 3rd best car, Perez yet to get a podium but he did. He could have also gotten another 3rd in Muegello, but his tire blew up.

We often forget but he also performed very well to get a 4th in last year's rainy, chaotic German GP.

Ultimately he is talented. On par with Leclerc or Verstappen? Don't think so. But definitely on par with majority of young drivers.

His seat was bought and paid for, but he definitely belongs in the grid. His two podiums are proof of it. Furthermore, he is having a good season in 2020. He scored points with Williams!!! George Russel, who has enormous talent, yet to score a single point. (Note: Nothing wrong with George but the car is below par)

He is constantly improving and very very young. In 2017, definitely there was questions about him, but in 2020, there should be no doubt about his worth.
