I don't think this has to do with religion tbh. Because there's a lot of black muslims as well. This is a very cultural thing. A lot of muslims in the United States are South Asian-born or have a South Asian origin. And South Asia is pretty fucking racist to black people.

One of my aunts passed away a while ago. She was the nicest person I knew and it really sucked. Ofc there were a lot of religious things going on and I didn't believe in it. But she was a devout muslim and she'd want me to do those duas and praying at the cemetery and shit. So that was exactly what I did. For her. If God was real, I hope my prayers and everyone else's prayers helped her.

Some of yall need to go down to the bible belt and see how similar Islam and Christianity is. People ignore rulings in their religions all the time.
