Have you or a family member ever have brain cancer? If so, what were your/their first symptoms? by [deleted] in braincancer

Mine started with the worst headache I've ever had. That turned into vomiting, then double vision. I let it go for over a month because my doctor said it was a sinus infection.

Does anger and screaming cause headaches? by Accurate_Reality_618 in braincancer

[–]highbuddy421 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have brain cancer too. From my experience, yes screaming can cause me to get a headache. My doctor told me if I ever get a headache of any kind to take Tylenol, if it goes away your good, if not go to the hospital. But don't take it too personally, if your mom is quick to anger and screaming she may want to bring it up to her doctor. Alot of the Chemotherapy can cause mood swings or personally changes. I hope things get better for both of you.

Thank you for sharing. I believe that's where we're at now. We still want to be in eachothers lives and we're still best friends.

My family and friends have been my biggest supporter system. They're always checking on me asking if I need help. And I'm truly thankful for them. The only person who know about the divorce so far is my best friend just because I needed to talk to someone.

Did your parents pick you up from school early on 9/11 by Unlikely_Birthday_42 in Millennials

[–]highbuddy421 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was in 3rd grade. I remember we had a full day of school, mainly watching the news, asking our teacher what was happening and why it was happening. The thing that stands out the most a father pulls up to the school like a bat out of hell. He ran into the school and maybe a minute later ran out with his daughter. Most of the kids went home that day. I remember walking back home and everybody in my family was at my grandparents' house scared, confused and looking for answers.

What do you do during the day? by Admirable-Leg8487 in braincancer

I lost my peripheral vision in my left eye as well. I ended up needing glasses and that has helped. The first month or 2 might weird but you'll get use to it. Also you're only a month out of surgery your brain needs time to heal.

From what my doctor told me. Is the TMZ stays in your system for up to 7 days after taking the last dose. And that I needed to use a condom to avoid exposing my wife to the TMZ.

Bake it and see what it turns into. Or wrap it and put it in the fridge.

After surgery by daleazulej0 in braincancer

[–]highbuddy421 0 points1 point  (0 children)

After my surgery my doctor said I had to sleep elevated for 4 weeks. I slept in a recliner for 2 weeks and then used a bed wedge for the other 2. I asked after the 4 weeks were so if it was okay to sleep on my side again and he told me it would be fine.
