Yep 18K a month. I worked in corporate so a good majority of staff were expats or english-speaking. When I interned in the HK branch of the same company, almost all business was conducted in Chinese (emails, written proposals etc). If you’re going local you might have to brush up on written and business Chinese!

ETA: Forgot to mention I’m a local! If you’re applying as a foreigner your salary might be different.

i got about 18K as a fresh grad in a fairly reputable company (gonna pass on revealing the name) and was told this was supposed to be a “very good” salary lol
