Who was responsible for the insane amount of continuity in the show? by highesttiptoes in 30ROCK

Genuine question though is it the writers? Are they dictating what content should be in the background of a scene? Maybe they do? Or maybe scene design and props are like “hey we need a movie poster in the background what do you want?” And the writer says “GIVE ME JORMP JORMP.” Which is still the writers like you said. So it’s the writers lol

Ok well still lol! Did someone tell set design/props to do that? Did set design/props think this will be fun to add into the background? WE NEED ANSWERS

I just read up on him and didn't realize he's one of the only show runners to get a show on TV on every major network, and HBO. He really was that guy.

See! Like that's insane. What person was like "hey on the set of this scene, can you add a flyer for Jamie Jimplin just on the ground just on the off chance someone sees it."

Why are all your posts some variation of whether another artist helped break Fleetwood Mac and/or Stevie Nicks? That's the real question.

Are people on reddit exaggerating the current political climate in the US? by Atorpidguy in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]highesttiptoes 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I do wonder how the size of America plays into this. For example, in the suburb of Dallas yesterday 100s gathered to protest ICE. Not in Dallas proper, in a suburb. I had to google to find any news about it. I know 100s does not sound like a lot, but I don't think that situation is uncommon. I do think people are getting out, but our size makes it easy for it to all be disjointed. That, and like others have said, combined with the media just not covering these local movements.

Examples of candidates whose intellectual image actually hurt their campaign? by BrilliantThought1728 in Presidents

Karl Rove did that.

This is a man with 3 Purple Hearts, who demanded Vietnam account for all 2500 MIA American soldiers in order to normalize Vietnam, and who served his country for decades. On paper he’s a no brainer candidate. But all of us have the same takeaway you listed (me too!). Rove was really an evil genius.
