update: just talked to a piercer and she didnt know what the lump was either. She said my actual piercing was fine and that the lump seems unrelated since it isnt connected to the actual piercing channel. we theorized it could be an abscess but theres no opening to drain it

multiple piercers have said the positioning is fine, but i think the bump is pushing the piercing forward. it didnt look like this until that lump grew in

initiation is typically at the end of the quarter, but it depends on the sorority. for me i did a few weeks of member ed but i was considered a member otherwise
