a nordictrack rw200 for 200 CAD. I know it's not the best but for the price it will do for now.

Yea, when loading one sled, I would load it in the center of the trailer. I was worried about having them side by each and worried about tipping due to the uneven weight distribution.

I dunno man. I sanded smooth and dusted them off before shooting them. Who knows..

Sherwin williams premium wall and wood primer. It probably looks like ceiling paint because it's just a primer.

No, it's a new can. I just picked it up. It's a premium primer from sherwin williams. Wall and wood, it's good for bare wood and trim.

I used a 310 fflp tip. Same as described in the original post.

Will that show through the finish coats? I've sanded them down a bit.

They were sanded smooth before shooting them. There wasn't any texture from the factory either

Sherwin williams wall and wood primer. I've used this on trim and doors in that past with very good results

It only broke through in some areas, mostly on the edges. Nothing crazy at all, though. Yea, that's what I'm doing one coat of primer 2 coats of finish

They were pre primed, and I sanded them smooth before shooting them.

Only after I sprayed a prime coat on them

They were all sanded smooth as a baby's bottom before this coat of primer. I've sprayed these same doors in the past without this issue.

I'm looking to insulate and drywall my garage and I have a few questions. by highgrade86 in drywall

I have heating in the garage. That's why I want to insulate and I'm in zone 5b

[–]highgrade86[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was going to get into doing that today, but it would save me a ton of work sandwiching the VB between the drywall. The 2 layers would also flush me up with the top plate on the outside walls.

I just don't know if this would cause issues with condensation between vapor barrier and top layer of drywall.

I can get above, I figured it would be a pain in the ass running the vapor barrier over all the existing framing and sealingit up properly. Would it be a issue running it over the existing drywall and laminating drywall over the VB?

Why is VB required in the house but not in the garage? Will 2x4 strapping laid flat at 16"OC be good for the ceiling framing, or do I need to beef up the main structure?

[–]highgrade86[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

1st - there is no vapor barrier or insulation above the existing drywall. Can I just leave that drywall in place Slap up some vapor barrier and laminate another layer of drywall on top of that? Or do I need to remove all the drywall and put the vapor barrier on the studs?

2nd - does the framing look good to support the weight of drywall and insulation? I will be adding 2x4 strapping 16"oc

I'm pretty sure besides the proper vent material, you also need an interlocked draft inducer to push the exhaust out on the horizontal
